honestly whenever i try to use this for studying i get distracted because i get wrapped up in the music. my proof? i'm distracted from my work right now
Same. Being a musician myself I cannot work or study when listening to music as I always end up feeling the music and going fully into it until I forgot what I was originally doing for the next 2 hours. :D
@@alexandero9936 Ragecomic at least made a legitimate attempt at being unique and funny. Comments like this on the other hand are just pasted 200 times under every single video and they werent even particularly funny the first 3 times...
Tough order. Comparable to the same charge to the poor guys who had to come up with the best of Sinatra, Mays, Nicklaus and Wright (the architect, not the flier).
wars were waged to this music, famines, revolutions, plagues.. Poetry written, tears rolled down cheeks, love found, and lost, and found..lives passed, and reincarnated.. we are so lucky that we can just scroll a phone to access this..i dont know, life is so big, what is it all about
I'm only getting into Classical music now in my 30s, but Tchaikovsky stands out to me above the rest in terms of how cinematic, emotional and powerful his music feels. You can see the influence he must have had on composers like John Williams, the feeling of menace and power conveyed in the Swan Lake theme feels the granddaddy of the Imperial March
Well... it seems that John Williams was not only "inspired", but also "borrowed" his music from great classical composers. Listen also to the Symphonic suite "The Planets" by Gustav Holst, written in 1914-1916. Perhaps after that you will be able to doubt the fact of the authorship of the music for "Star Wars". Hollywood has obviously, to put it mildly, borrowed a lot from these composers.
@@motherlandmars5999 Fabricate lies in the name of Momo? You saying Bukhari is a liar? Momo said in Sahih al Bukhari 5590 that musical instruments are not lawful and those who use those, Allah will destroy and turn them into monkeys and pigs lmfao. Momo the desert warlord was very creative with his imagination.
I would say Wagner’s Götterdammerung would top this, specifically Siegfried’s Funeral March. Just epic heroism and glory expressed in the musical format.
Your music is an absolute masterpiece! 🌟 Each note is like a brushstroke on the canvas of emotions, creating a symphony that resonates deeply. Bravo! 👏🎵
@@Imilliaful he was a genius and such people are very often alone. Moreover, they suffer from different global questions they can't find answers. He was very shy, but his feelings were so strong, and he could express them only in his great music. Sorry for answering you in English, unfortunately I don't know your language. (Spanish?)
When someone writes a book, they paint what they feel when they see others. When you compose you compose events, I think. I always dreamt of composing what I see, but it was the same as being a writer or a painter.
@@samuelto I also like this one, but it hits in a different way. It's like hero is finally coming back to his town. He enters his home, full of joy, only to find out that his family is dead. And this is where 13:05 starts. Also, this part is quite similar to Imperial March.

Both Tchaikovsky and Beethoven wrote overtures celebrating defeats suffered by Napoleonic Armies--Beethoven's Wellington's Victory and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture; both used cannon and other effects. Tchaikovsky was my entry into a lifetime loving Classical Music. To me the finale to Swan Lake is unsurpassed in depiction of EVIL
Thank you for pointing out Beethoven/ Tchaikovsky overtures celebrating NAPOLEON DEFEAT that i never noticed before/wonderful to learn something new every day and please continue your wonderful commenting
This presentation is monumental and extraordinary. It allows us to feel in the soul every note that comes to us from each instrument. I liked the video and subscribed to the channel.
I love Beethoven’s stuff. This is what got me into classical. I remember mentioning it about 4-5 years ago to my neighbour and he told me about this Russian composer who was producing music in war-times! Not 💯 % sure which war(era) but it seemed interesting. I decided to give him a listen about 3 years ago
Probably Dmitri Shostakovich during World War II when he was trapped in St. Petersburg which was under siege/blockade. For example his Waltz #2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-phBThlPTBEg.html

He was so gay and in a Russian closet .the pain drives people to greatness .overcoming opposition with fierce believe in self . It's like a desert rose thriving in the drought .. I've seen it all to many times . Makes beautiful Beings 😊❤
