This is the most enchanting version of the beautiful piece I've ever heard!! The sonorous, rich, and eloquent sound of cello creates such a wonderfully-sentimental ambiance that is perfect for the melody of the piece. Great performance by the both musicians! Cello don't rush! Listen to recordings of Russian vocalists singing this piece. You have to do almost a Puccini-esque rubato and then finally ARRIVE at the climax of the phrase. Make the listener want it.
