Beautiful... He tells her that he loves her, will marry her, and promises to be faithful, which is exactly what she needs in order to break the curse. She's so moved to hear this.

But she is rudely pulled away by the curse of the sorcerer that turns her into a swan before she can affirm the love-oath of her Prince. This is the only ballerina that shows her dramatically fighting against the backward pull during the graceful.but agonizing transformation into a swan-zombie that glides away in a trance..

Meybe it is only a good thing I did not become a male ballet dancer. I would probably have had very very extreme difficulty not to fall in love for my female counterpart on stage. That is exactly what happened in a non-ballet setting when during a compulsory PE class at junior high school, I chose a ballerina as my dance partner. She was too much, too lovely for one young man to stand! I was dealing with an angel and a superwoman.
