I subscribe and Thank you so much for your helpful video and I have a question that maybe you could help. Is this the only way to could connect Analog Connection DVD player to the Roku tv???? I bought a Cable with HDMI on one end and RCA Analog on the other end but it does not work.... Can you use a RCA to HDMI Converted??? I so sorry I just curious of what other connect to connect DVD player because Roku TV doesn't Analog connection :) thank you

I think it is not possible to use that cable because that cable can only be used from HDMI to RCA connection and not the other way around. For RCA (analog source) to HDMI TV, you need a converter similar to this - amzn.to/36St06o (Amazon affiliate link). Although, I have never tried it myself. Good luck!

This is for input. For output, the TV has optical and HDMI ARC. I plan to make a video about connecting TV to stereo amp. I think that one works for you.

Followed your instructions as I also have a TCL smart tv and I tried to connect the Platinum karaoke machine thru AV input using the adaptor the same as yours but why it isn't still working? Still saying no signal I made sure that both are on. Please advise what to do?

I am not sure. For my TV, no additional setup needed. Just plug and play. I wonder if your cables have problem or the TV port itself is not working.

If I connect component cables but only connect the video wires (since it has 5 cables) would it detect that all the wires are for video or would it just display the color in the video slot?

What is the other end of component cable? If you are connecting component cable to this adaptor, I don't think it will work since the adaptor needs composite video signal

@@ProductUnboxingMore Well one side goes in my OG xbox, but I’m assuming you mean the other side which fits the same as composite (these ones) but with a red, blue, and green cables for video.

Even though they are all RCA connectors, they carry different signals. For this video, the yellow RCA is composite video which includes all video information unlike the component cable needs 3 connectors for video alone. In your case, I suggest, better look for component cable to HDMI adaptor. I hope this helps.

Yellow is for video, and Red and White are for audio. The one connected at the back of the TV is the 3.5mm plug.

I don't know what you mean. This is used for input to TV, if you have RU-vid on TV then there is no need to use this connection.

I suggest you try first the xbox and the cable on standard analog TV. If it works, maybe something wrong with your TCL TV interface.

Sir skyworth po tv namin. Pero same lang naman po sila na may av sa inputs and same na same po sila. It should work with any analog devices such as VHS or other old gaming consoles.

make sure na tama video and audio connection, minstan kasi nagkakapalit. Best is to try with other TV yung karaoke using same cable.

@@ProductUnboxingMore yes sir .that’s what we usually do kasi sa old non smart tv namin. Ang prob lang this time walang video/audio input dito sa smart tv na to. So kung gamitin ko yang connector magwowork din ba kaya?

@@larahflave18 No, that connector will not work. For audio out, kailangan mo ng optical cable. Pero kung walang optical input ang stereo component, I think you need a DAC device (Digital to Analog Converter).
