Currently using this phone it works well with a snappy ui And decent performance on games in the future I plan on turning the phone into a Wi-Fi security camera
I received one of these as part of my healthcare plan. I've yet to give it a good test run because I'm waiting on a case and screen protector, but not a bad device so far for only 40-100 bucks. Considering my old ipod touch 3G was 350 bucks, I could be really happy with this if I found it for 40 bucks. I don't recall the headphone port being mentioned in the video, since those are hard to come by and might be a good feature for some people.
Do you or anyone else know if the ion V uses the same battery as the tcl A3? I had 2 A3s and so I have 2 3000 mah batteries, I think it's highly likely that they are the same. It would be amazing to have 2 extra batteries, I like to go on long hikes sometimes and can be gone for days at a time. It would come in handy.
My experience has been very negative. It stopped letting me text ~a month after I got it. My cellular data does not work. Right now it's downloading random apps without my permission, and it freezes for 5 minutes on average after light gameplay.
so confusing on the battery, on Amazon you have this phone for sale, and in the reviews two people are appreciating the replaceable battery, and then TCL reps telling someone in the questions section that the battery isn't replaceable.. human stupidity always makes everything harder
UPDATE: I have now bought this phone, and I really like it. I can just pop the cover off in a jiffy to replace the battery should I need to, which will be a long time off since it so far has great life and only needs some charging every couple days. I was going to file a police report on my iPhone 6s that got stolen in the hands of FedEx on the way to Apple for a battery replacement, the latter who would not accept the proof I could provide that I was the owner, so common helical fastener em all.
