Amazing I followed what you did and it fixed it perfectly thank you fr man bout to whole power supply instead and fixed it don’t have a solder gun so swapped power supply and worked great

Does fast diode mean that it switches on and off very quickly , so that it can carry a pwm type voltage to control the leds?

yes exactly. Schottky diode is fast switching

look by part number that marked on the diode

I did everything you did on the video. The ligtt he came on for a second. I just changed the diode but nothing happened

Everything turns on but no backlight. Both backlights measured the same voltage

I replaced the diode but now the power light on the bottom of the TV will not turn on. Is there something else wrong with my power supply?
