I think we need different weapons for family…Give Johnny a wood hatchet, give Bubba his sledge hammer, give hitchy a different knife, give cook a kitchen knife, or meat cleaver…Also way more cosmetics and the ability to switch between different parts of cosmetics, head chest and chest pants…Also something HAS to be done for lobby dodgers, as victim it will take easily another 10 minutes to find another family member.
Texas chainsaw massacre needs to add a setting where you can choose your buttons for all platforms because i’m so tired of trying to run through a crack when i’m getting chased and the game makes me pick up a health bottle or look through a toolbox.
I do see a lot of problems that need to be fixed, but I’ve been playing and the game seems pretty alive for me personally. I get matches within minutes and sometimes lobbies can take awhile if people don’t ready up or if backfill waits until close to the end of the timer to actually work, but the best solution is to just use quick match and then play family or victim. Its been working for me, even got more victim matches than family yesterday with quick match which surprised me. If they fix all the bugs, properly iron out Virginia’s cosmetics and tree, and release the next family member sometime before we reach late spring, I’ll be pretty content. But they do really need to raise moral for the game more, there are so many QoL changes that could be made that I think everybody would like, most having to do with the lobby.
Please penalize the constant lobby dodgers. It’s so frustrating everyone else has to wait 45 minutes just to get a game started. It seems as if one family member leaves the match will absolutely not start unless one Victim leaves on their side. which is unfair if you’re in a party of four. I remember an update that came out a few months ago. That drastically changed the lobby Wait times. Why not do that again seemed very effective.
Agreed!! Ban times are needed, these family mains are so soft. Lobby dodging almost every single lobby. It’s not even 1/5, it’s every match and every re-roll…
Yeah, the lobby dodgers must be some group payed just to just ruin this game. Because it's not possible to understand more than 2 reasons for so many people leave the lobbies when it's not broken after the first killer leaves or the game crashes somehow.
I've been having so much fun with TCM! Yes, there are things that need to be fixed, but I feel that most criticisms are so toxic, those repetitives comments like "dead game" instead of adding something really constructive. I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll bring! great video!
Back when it first came out it was awesome , I remember the adrenaline rush I had when I first escaped the house, I was stoned out my mind aswell though 🤣🤣🤣
They just need to fix lobby’s man it’s so annoying and they need to start releasing more trailers so more people know about this game they need to just turn the Dial up to eleven on updates,content,in game rewards,trailers/showcasing,level cap,balancing and most needed lobby dodging consequences and I know it’s hard to do all that with a game that keeps trying to come back to life but if they do that it should be for them after that gun has experience with f13 they need to learn and not make the same mistakes also they can’t stop avoiding the community’s ideas and thoughts also get more licenses to the Texas chainsaw universe I heard there making a new Texas chain saw movie gun should talk to the producers of that movie and try to get some characters in but that’s my thoughts.
I completely agree about the loudmouth attribute 😭 never thought about that, but it would be so nice to keep my character from talking. Especially when Virginia goes on another depressing spiel about Jessie.
I don’t think they will or need a penalty for lobbies. The problem is the lobby won’t fill when a Fam member leaves. It bugs out. It will fill almost instantly when victim leaves. If they fix that issues it won’t matter if someone leaves/dodges.
The new level up system and in game currency better take existing xp/current game time into account otherwise players would have been playing for absolutely nothing
Penalizing Lobby dodger’s rarely works. Evil Dead did it, and most people would simply turn off the game and play something else. Plus the downside is legit players get hit penalties due to crashes. Also the current lobby issue is compounded due to the return of the back fill bug. They need to address the bug, and then lobbies should constantly fill even if people still dodge
Yeah but DBD has a much bigger player base they can't really afford losing more players here. I think just getting rid of the back out button would help
Lobby Dodgers are super annoying. Maybe if someone dodges more than 1 lobby in a row they could get a temporary Lobby dodger mark on their thing that goes away when they play 2 in a row no dodge. And if they dodge 3 in a row they have a time penalty before they can requeue. Not something crazy but just some sort of punitive action to make them stop being crybabies about certain maps or characters or level 0s or people running certain perk combos or etc. maybe an hour?
One thing I've always said about the stealth attribute since it's nerf is that they should make it that the higher your stealth is, the higher chance you have of not making noise on certain interactions. Making bone charms go off, alerting chickens, voice lines going off when there's a killer nearby, etc.
The game situation is quite critical; the lobby waiting time is extensive for victims and has once again become bugged, failing to fill up when all the victims are in the lobby. They released a Virginia with numerous bugs. It's a grave mistake to take so long to release a hotfix! Many players will not return, and the game will suffer in the short term if these issues are not fixed ASAP. I understand that Sumo Digital literally abandoned the game right after an important update, leaving all the code and bugs for Black Tower to deal with. However, this couldn't have happened at a worse time!
I do agree with you. The lobby problem alone is making the game nearly unplayable...unless you have hours to burn waiting....and releasing a bugged character is just disappointing.
But will scout be nerfed? And if so, how much will the movement speed be decreased? If they nerf scout it makes no sense because it already has less damage criticality
Bots seem like it will be way too hard to implement and the game like this. either they’ll find you all the time or they’ll never find you which will make the game too easy. take a look at outlast trials, for instance. (Those Bots don’t play lol)
Sissy Poison, Danny Tamper and LF getting slammed getting fixed FINALLY. especially Sissy, that went on for months and months. Y’all gotta understand she’s gonna be able to get free dot damage everytime you walk gap, that’s crazy on top of the other effects. Lobby problems in my eye starts with solo players playing against teams, you don’t have much of a chance on your own against a team so I would implement solo player lobby that would help in some way
The game can never be stealthy as long as the family is told everything victims do🤷🏿♂️any basement door opened, any gate unlocked, any objective turned off family gets a notification. No incentive to playing stealth like because nothing gets done in secret…only hope is they don’t get there in time
Tbh instead of adding Penalization to Lobby Dodgers they should add a preference system where you get to pick the victim or family member that you wanna play as and then the game puts you in a lobby where nobody is using that preferred character that’s one of the main reason people lobby dodges I should be able to play as Ana or Virginia as many times I want unless I changed my preferred character to someone else
They 💯 won’t have all those things ready by the 17th . They’ll only have what’s in patch . Otherwise they would make announcements and teasers . Don’t get your hopes up
I want to believe the 90 day time window is real, but by this time i already know them and it will be like half of what they promised and it will be the worse half, probably released near the end with "We didnt want to delay the patch" bullshit.
WELLS need to be RNG wells should have 3 spots they should always rng at! this game is toxic cause victims can escape easily and real fast at times make victims get punished when caught! you can't punish victims even when i play cause i know all well locations and a free escape! this game would be more fun if you would make victims take time looking for a well so they know where to escape from instead of going straight for obj!, also FULL TEAM escapes need to be harder and require another part or something to unlock or get!. another thing they need to do is make it so 2 more victims are in the match/game i really think that 2 more should be added to the game. THEY HAVE TO FIX character selection NO ONE IS GOING TO PLAY A LVL 1 OR 0 victim or killer! we're on the game to play who we want and especially the ones we spent time lvling up most people have 2 victims or family members to pick so they need to fix it so you can play your person you want to play it should be searching games for that not automatically putting you as a lvl 0 all over AGAIN VS ALL LVL 10S lol cmon thats just asking! for im going to leave the lobby. last thing they need to do is they have got to remove some crack/spaces and barricades TO MANY! family have to RUN ALL OVER THE MAP constantly to check obj which is hard when maps are big! eats up alot of stamina and time. victims should be hiding! in this game its extremly easy with bushes, going into lockers, cars etc.... or just out right sprining and using a barricade or crack to escape which is really easy vs those that can't break anything! thats why escaping is really easy unless 2 family members are on one victim but thats is a HUGE loss for the family 2 on 1 allows alot of time for others!. so for the love of god remove some barricades, doors, and cracks! the maps have to many and majoirty of time its a free escape CHASE TIMES ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH IF THINS GAME! which can also make it boring for both sides!. if they do these 4 things the game will do well.
For the lobby, my friend said this: do not show anyone any information on the maps or the other team. This is similar to some other asym games. DBD makes it so that the survivors cannot see the killer until they load into the game. This would make it so that people do not leave because they see a danny, virginia, or certain combo of family, or dodge because of the map. Sure they may dc once loaded in, but you'll load in lol
@Gr1mSleep3r They can hide opposite team characters and the map without a DC penalty. All they’d have to be able to do is put people who consistently leave lobbies prior to starting into the back of the queue, while players who stay in them are given priority queue. If thats too complicated then they might just be able to hide maps but not characters though.
Family isn't leaving because of what you have on your team. Where leaving because our teammate sucks and we don't want the game to be over in 30 seconds after victims rush up and hit basement exit because the guy that was supposed to be watching it is to busy turning off generator for funsies
The lobby waiting is so frustrating, please !!! Fix that and i’m good for months. PLUS, I hope they can alow victims to push stuff hahahaa. That’d be cool.
I only leave lobby when victims refuse to ready up i swear victims troll in game lobbies but it's fine takes me 10 seconds to find a new one take them 2 min so i dont get y the do it but to each their own
#1 (NUMBER ONE) thing to address is lobby. Auto kick off 20 sec timer once 7 people are in the lobby. Take people out of lobbies to fill lobbies that need one. (If people agree to this in the settings or something) I would gladly want to get pulled from a lobby (as a single) to go into another one that needs one more player.
i hadn’t played the game in like 3 months and i just got back into yesterday and GOD DAMN people get good quick. I’m still pretty good as the family but i die EVERY time as a victim lol
This entire game is a disappointment, aside from the first couple of weeks, everything after that was fucked. Nothing about this game is impressive with todays gaming standards. I love the concept of TCM, but let’s be honest with ourselves. The game is total dogshit as of right now.
They want to make the game more stealthy? How about make it so you characters aren’t yelling out dumb ass voice lines every 10 seconds. I have a really good headset and I can literally hear where survivors are across the entire map because there talking. There’s no skill involved in this at all the lines happen, whether your injured or healthy, and they happen all the time. Not to mention they’re stupid and get extremely repetitive and annoying but give your position away for no reason at all. Completely breaks the game and it’s insane to me how nobody is talking about this. Why are the devs playing on broke ass headsets?
They would have to take that into account...I don't think they will just slap on a new escape in addition to all the escapes already...or at least I hope not
I pray and hope that these new cosmetics come to this patch. Also they just announced that sissy poison will be getting fixed to where she can poison through gaps again. Now that they have established new cosmetics coming what are y’all hoping to see for new outfits?

It's hard to say. I do think they love their game....but It feels like they are way behind and making questionable decisions. Releasing a bugged character...and patching it weeks later 🤔 it just makes me concerned.
This game needs to implement a new system in the skill tree for random perks. We all know how tedious it is to respec our characters for the builds we desire. The devs really need to make it so where we can choose our random perks instead of constantly respeccing for them. I’ve respecced in this game at least 1,000 times so far. This is a big problem. We should at least reshuffle the random perk itself instead of respeccing every time we don’t get the combination of perks we want. This is the most irritating part of the game (besides lobby simulator), and I’m surprised we don’t have enough people pointing this issue out. It really discourages players from respeccing and trying out different play styles
They need to add penalty for lack of communication and team mates doing nothing. Im tired of people not using comms, on both sides and i honestly i don't know which is worst, victim or family On victims side (not using comms) im tired of *being the only one in the match...* 2 killers on me and my team are doing nothing!!!! Why nobody is doing nothing? Do something! Push objectives but instead they're doing nothing Or sometimes i get the selfish obnoxious Connie dik riders who speed run the map but don't have the human decency to tell what they unlock and where they went And on family side is the same. Use your mic!
it only matters if you survive. you gotta play like your on your own and be creative and innovative. it promotes being stealthy tactical. to simply ban people for not talking is very Dictatorive like "Do this or els" you cant do that. that punishes players who either dont have a mic or a keyboard and are on console or those who dont like social interaction.
Bro I agree the running matches with teams that don’t do nun but I dislike a lil more when they rushing for nothing like the game just start no killer on them even before we get to open one door the spamming the tool box then all 3 killers in the basement then everybody dead I don’t like that man

What they need to do right to completely fix lobby dodging right? You need to hide levels it sounds bad but you have to it’s annoying having idiots leaving cause a low level when level 10s also play like shit. They need to add map voting. Also what they need to do is remove the lobby timer completely you should be having games as quickly as possible and having 6 people in a lobby just for a dunce to quit and then you get kicked is annoying. Then after a match is completed you should have an option to continue or to find new game. Friends list you should be able to add people and have a in game friends list to add etc. After that they need to implement bots it sounds stupid or scummy but you need to when someone quits have AI to replace so games continue. But before you even worry about these things hackers must be an all time priority focus.
How the devs can stop the rush meta? Simple slow down grandpas progress to be leveled up so fast nerf fast hands so the % isn’t so much when people are near and the radius. And give people a reason Johnnys power should be if you are running around you can be tracked. Why should I crouch walk etc or hide in a bush when a fat yellow cloud trail shows him where I’m at? Nerf perks to increase grandpas level quickly so you have to do more. And I’m just gonna put this here so I don’t make another thing but for the leveling problem simply add a prestige system you get borders on your character portrait to signify how much time you put but also give us skins. The bloody cosmetics you can call it gore fest where it’s literally the victims absolutely drenched in blood and the higher you level the more it progressively gets. Same for family idc about the “bloody” cosmetics dlc you can buy that’s like a couple splats you can have multiple weapons that look cooler and cooler. And with the family skins you can have them drenched as well fully cover their faces have bloody footprints from them. Also when they get this situation with handling dev team stuff over they need to make sure their communication with us is on point cut this 90 day period shit off with dlc and have weekly QOL updates have every Fridays be a live stream where they speak to us and allow us to give input we should be getting new content frequently instead of 1 map make it 3 outfits should be multiple per character.
They should add in prefer to play as victim or family member like Friday The 13th had with Jason & The Victims there and it should also be prefer to play as this character and then you choose loadout and then you search an get into a game.
I feel like the way to also stop lobby dodging is to make the family, and victims uknown, so only those sides will see each others character portraits, it will add a good guessing game on who you are up against on both sides once the match starts.
They talk about stealth yet everyone who plays the game knows all the hiding spots, lol. Then as family, they run parterns or camp certain areas. Stealth my ass they should have added different game modes. Like one without Grandpa or sole survivor where the last one alive wins. Game mode where all the victims can kill each other and be the only one who can try to escape and get different rewards. Who knows just throwing out some idea's even thou some or stupid. There is nothing to spend in game currency on, no daily challenges, etc.
I came back to the game after a few months or more and it takes longer to find a game as victim then when you finally do a family member leaves. Seems worse than before and i miss the choose the flight perk the way it was. They could have took one charge from it but they made it useless. People can say what they want but show me someone who is getting away from say a good hitchiker main they will run you down everytime. Family mains cried until they got shit the way they wanted. Now the game is pretty much dead and unplayable. I played family also and i had no issue with the choose flight perk, i killed people just fine.
If they had any plans on actually releasing the new killer they would have at least shown us a picture by now. We saw virginias picture a month before her release. They scrapped the killer and just hope everyone forgot. If they had anything they would have shown us a picture and givin us a solid release date.
I think theres a lot of sock puppet accounts. Ive noticed a bunchbof level zero first time players, never readying up, not moving when game starts ultimately being booted. Is gun using fake accounts to get games started?

another thing texas chainsaw should add is with each load out like (1,2,3 etc) each load out should have their own skill tree and ability tree because one, random perks sometimes bug me when it keeps giving me ass perks and when I wanna run certain builds i’m tired to respecting over and over and two, it would make it so much easier to play and experiment your gameplay style to see what you rock with.
Btw what they said about everyone using the same perks was so stupid... "If everyone is using the same perk, something is not right" No Gun!. Players want to use the good stuff, helpful and useful perks like extra drip, stunt double, jump start, fight back, no sell etc... For the family: Scout, serrated, Via-lent, tracker tagged, fired up, Easily Tuckered Out etc... That's what the players want to use and theres nothing wrong with it Nobody wants to use trash perks like dead weight, bad blood, parting gift, chicken whisperer, i smell blood or insulated (booby-trapped lamps stun you for x% less time lololol) Let the people use the good stuff. There's nothing wrong with it.
I do hope they buff irrelevant perks for both sides, but personally I want to have Fast Hands nerfed. Its generally not been on their radar since only two characters can even obtain it, but its just an incredibly powerful perk that can make lockpicking take like 3 seconds which is unfair for family members. Especially when pared with something like Virginia’s blinding power that can also stamina drain.
I dont think theres an issue/bug for the lobbies. I think there just isnt enough family players. Everyone wants to play victims. No one wants to be family. Its a player count problem
What's the point, the game is dead... Launch a new character that you can't use to the fullest. the countless number of gameplay problems. the balance between family and victim. And this stupid lobby that penalizes everyone creating crazy expectations for at least 30 minutes to be nice. the fact of throwing the new victim to one side without the new family member creating a total imbalance. So it's good to want to make a patch but you would have to set the waiting base already..
I fully support penalties in video games BUT they must address core issues before they do so. 1) Being held hostage 2) Hackers and in gaming reporting (justifying leaving a match) 3) Teammates leaving (provide the people who stay some bonus points and speed up game timer (victims heart meter to encourage them to escape / leave).
The thing they should really do is penalizing people ingame instead of penalizing people in lobby because that would just be dumb, and they should honestly not show the icon of the map that you are getting ready for and just get rid of it, but if a new map is implemented in the game than yeah show the players they got the new map and... yeah boom. thats pretty much all I can say ngl.

Imagine a victim getting a chance to "join the family" and rat out their teammate in exchange for letting them live 😅 also i think it would make victims want to work together more often instead of separating and finding their own way out (many victims do leave their buddies behind maybe this can encourage more vics to work together?)
Sonny is pretty powerful it’s just you have to adjust the toughness . His ability is great especially now that it’s changed . People die quickly cause they have no toughness on Sunny lol. He has great stats . He so slept on
He's sleeped on cause his ability revolves around you hiding and not making contact with family which is pretty boring. You wanna at least interact with the family from time to time to make the game suspenseful otherwise it's super stale
