This is my first marathon, did it in 3:19:55, 5s faster than my plan. Now I get to tell everyone I did it in 3:19, not 3:20. Not bad for someone who stumble and fell just 9K in. Thankfully just a little cut on the knee and a bruised shin, nothing serious. The fall certainly woke me up.

@@Chunkylova53 training seriously, 18 month. I brought my first and only garmin watch in May of 2022. Before that, I run casually to lose weight, but I don’t even have Heart rate data to work with. I run 60-70km per week and swim+cycle once or twice a week if I am not injured from running, which is quite often and frustrating. This year I developed hip bursitis in the summer, I run the marathon with hip bursitis. Last year I developed planar fasciitis, which is mostly healed.
