Definitely so. I can't help to feel for him though. He and his team was dominating the tour, gave it their all, but it all came crashing down on the last real race day.

Ampak vseeno eni pa s svojimi komentarji malo pretiravajo..Da pogacar ne bi smel iti zmago, da bi moral biti zadovoljen z 2 mestom, da on ma se cajt za vse to...itd... Mislm HALO..kaj je folku? @Ed Marino I am proud, but i just feel a bit bad for Roglič, im happy for Pogačar offcourse, but sad for Roglič. But proud on both of them. This was really an amazing tour to watch, especially because of Roglič and Pogačar.

Extreming gc riders rest on the flatter stages in the peloton and really only compete on the climbs. They put out “only” around 200-250watts in the peloton on flat, which is about zone 1 to low zone 2 for these guys. They really don’t go into threshold that often. It’s all about managing your matches

Time Trial is the real thing. Just you and the road. It's tough, it hurts but at the end you are the king. Pogacar was the king that day.. incredible performance.

A team can only do so much, the rider plays a more significant role. But still Roglic had done worse if he had a worse team... What a masterclass from both Slovenians, especially Poga. Even if Dumoulin had done a bike change, he would most likely still not have been within 30 seconds of him, even though Dumoulin is still not in his usual form that’s just incredible.

For the most part, Jumbo Visma was pulling Pogacar up the mountain just as much as they were helping Roglic, as Pogacar was almost always on his wheel. Roglic’s team would’ve really benefited him if Pogacar attacked a lot on the hilly stages, but he didn’t attack often. He kinda just put all his marbles into this ITT, and it payed off.

@@benfried7100 Pogacar didnt attack often??? He attacked at almost very mountain stage. Yes he didnt attacked with some kilometres to go except his first attack but this would have been so risky. Be he attack every time he could and chipped away Roglic's lead second by second

Ben Fried he attacked during the mountain stages and Dumoulin reeled him in a couple of times and WVA, Kuss and Dumoulin set a fast pace so that no one could really attack.

Matthias Ehling Yes, he attacked the most, but not that much in total, however that’s only logical... And he lost time in the hardest stage of the tour. He always tries and doesn’t do it blindly, e.g. when he waited till Dumoulin was done in the first mountain stage. He has been very impressive and even though he is so incredibly good, he still is humble and realistic

Sadly we won't be able to see egan challenging Jumbo Visma and UAE coz he is going to the Giro
