TDG Preview: Aces & Armor 

Basically, another version of Trench Club. Not much difference between the two, but in Trench Club you get a more units. This version is not appealing to me.

The infantry minis look way to big.

I really like Trench Club. Its a fantastic battle game offering a strong ww1 aesthetics, a tight xp and damage system and a relatively clean rule system. I would have been interested in this except that last weekend I saw Warlord Games Vanguard preview copy and that looks like a stronger ww2 battle game contender, similar to Tide or Iron in appearance. I'll see how much this will cost first. 10 years ago I was low on good ww2 games, but now I'm drowning in them.

If I am new to the complete system, which one would you suggest? This, Trench Club or Trench Club Legacy?

It will be interesting to see if the solo/co-op is a viable method of gameplay. Will it have a bunch of branching orders mitigated by die rolls and situations or card play?

Can the miniatures be removed from their clear bases with the sticks on?

I would have hoped for a comment that this certainly seems far from a historical treatment of WWII combat.

Looks unique

Looks like a mini version of Company of Heroes but is not very appealing overall.

neat. reminds me in some ways of the legacy game Dogfight
