TDG: War of 1812: Solitaire 

I have various 1812 games, starting with the old Milton Bradley Broadside naval game. Being an American now living in Canada, the War of 1812 takes on historical importance, especially for the Niagara Region, Lake Erie, and the border between Canada and Michigan. A well designed 1812 solitaire game would compliment the others in my collection, which includes Worthington's Campaign scale 'War Along the Great Lakes', Compass's 'Dawn's Early Light' a strategic rendering of the entire war, and four games with small footprints about Battles along the Niagara frontier (Queenston Heights, Lundy's Lane, Chippawa, and Fort Erie) published by High Flying Dice designed by Paul Rohrbach. It is interesting that many games have been made on a relatively small and short war that usually is a neglected period of the history of North America.
