They need to add houses, for me this is non-negotiable. The fundamentals to TDU were Dealerships and customisable houses with their own garages. If they don’t add them then the devs have failed to capture what TDU is about.

great vid as always! i find it amazing how in comments and such people are actually saying good things about this game, and were so critical to Forza Motorsport when it came out, i gave this a shot and honestly feels old, like if it came out 10 years ago it would be a good game. but not today. and the driving is just a lil better than unbound.

Did you notice this too? In Hong Kong, where they drive on the left, cars have left-hand steering instead of right-hand. This is the biggest mistake by the developers. 🚗😮

Upgrading every part is nice but the TDU way was to buy a base car and have 3 stages at a special tuner maybe even special editions of your car to convert to ( RTR, Roush parts for the Mustang). Rims paint/ vinyls and stance mods are a nice edition. But just like in real life if your car is too slow the best action should be to buy a faster base car instead of upgrading every part in small steps...

Ill definitely be buying this when it comes out. It seems like what I have been wanting Forza to be, a celebration of cars. Some of the models don't look incredible in the demo, but the sound design and details are what I'm really looking forward to. Can't wait to activate turn signals in cars I'll never own.

Remember game is in Beta and Nacon will fix bugs if needed. I once glitched through the map on a vanilla TDU:2 save on the Xbox 360. But I blamed it on the disc.

I hope the finished version doesnt let you fast travel that early ( only fast travel to point youve been before). Of course the graphics look way better on Ultra but theres no optimization going on in this demo so even mid settings look crap.

After playing the steam demo version, I summarized few serious problems, I hope you can report/tell the Test Drive Unlimited Official to fix/improve these issues before publishing the game because it is a memorable game for all of us, we all hope to have playful and enjoyable game experiences for tdusc 1. I use gtx1650 to play mid graphic quality, the graphic performance is very poor but I still experience frequently game crashes, I don’t know why 2. The frame is very low even at lowest graphic quality , the game is seem like stuck and un-fluent. 3. There is no option for buying property, club, casino, and clothing stores which I am very disappointed because these are my favorite features from tdu2. 3. The racing experience is weird, like there are some small materials in front of the vehicle then it would automatically spin and lose control.

maybe its just my AMD graphics card (6750 xt - 3070 equivalent) but i cant even play this game at all low settings at 60 fps 1440p. FH5 runs at almost 80 with high/med settings. I had so much hope for this game and i understand its only a demo but it seems so poorly optimised, laggy as hell and looks crap even at ultra settings (which i was getting 13 fps at btw). idk what version of the game Nick got but it cannot be the same as mine. Not to mention i tried used my direct drive wheelbase and not only was there a FOUR second delay between me pressing the accelerator and the car actually moving, the DD FFB almost vibrated my rig to pieces with how much it was oscillating. I was soooo hyped for this game for over a year and so far its been a massive let down.
