Adam, My wife recently passed away from Cystic Fibrosis. I miss traveling by way of our mini van many trips to hospitals. I just wanted to sad I just discovered you and your pleasant attitude and since of adventure just going from place to place has been a joy to watch. Thank you Sincerely Tom

We just have here an rebuild arc in half of the original scale (75 meters) for a visit in our harbor in Wilhelsmhaven/Germany and its amacing how big it is. So we got very courious to find more stuff about Noahs arc. And found your video. This arc you visited is unbelivable huge wish we could make it one day to see it too! Adam the doors on the second tier is the only door to the ark. The doors are where people take photos of. Because only God opened & closed the doors. Those was the doors the animals & Noah & his 8 family members entered through.

They should do a testrun, you know. Like with 10.000 animals (mammals preferably) for a 3 month, managed by 8 people. Should be fun!

One common misconception is that the ark had a pointed bow. It had a blunt bow. It was just meant to float, not cut through waves.

Do you know why this boatiest of boats is displayed on land and not on an ocean or lake? BECAUSE IT ISN'T SEAWORTHY! A wooden boat that size would twist and fall apart if you tried to float it in water.

I just see this through the eyes of a woodworker who builds guitars, it's an amazing feat of engineering and construction. It really is made entirely from timber, not panels of PVC made to look like wood. The graceful curves in the hull and all the detail work inside is awesome. Thanks for taking me here Adam, it's one of those things I probably won't see in person but it was fun seeing it through your perspective - as always.

2:43 The door is very symbolic. It was the only way in and out of the ark. Everyone had the opportunity to believe Noah’s message from God, and the way to be saved is entering through the door of the ark. When the time came, God closed the door of the ark. Jesus called himself “the door” in the New Testament. Meaning, He is the way to salvation. And He is the only way. Believing in Jesus and accepting of Him as savior results in salvation and eternity with God and time in heaven. Hope this helps!

I love how the internet can't keep their negativity to themselves for 5 minutes. If you don't believe that's fine but bash others beliefs is simply disrespectful. If this was another religion everyone would be up in arms but because it's Christianity everyone thinks "Fair game. Christians can't be bullied".

The ark was not boat shaped in all probability. Ark means box, same as the ark of the covenant, it was a box. Noah's ark was designed for one purpose, to float in order to keep what was inside alive. It wasn't designed to steer, sail, slice through the waves, speed or anything else except float. Apparently it did a pretty good job. If you read the account of the flood in Genesis you'll notice God brought the animals to the ark and when it was time to close the door, God himself did that.

Ken ham spent millions on a ark and we aspect Noah built it by himself XD

Answering your question 'Difference between ark and boat' Ark basically is a chest, box-shaped. Depictions of Noah's ark as a boat or boat-like structure are incorrect; it only needed to float, not steer, so no bow and no keel, just a three-story rectangular box. The Ark of the Covenant was also a chest but of course smaller and more ornate, the depiction in Raiders is pretty accurate.

It has a remarkably low turn out considering this is a new "attraction". I wouldn't have an issue with it at all were tax payers money not being used for it in any way shape or form. I mean we have a giant dressed up mouse and talking dogs along with many princesses and women who can control ice in Orlando Fl for attractions. This is no different. Most attractions are made to trigger the imagination to impossible things. Only this one happens to be claiming to be completely accurate history. I am sure they used to have a museum of sorts with tours of our flat earth as well. I happen to have faith and believe in God (though am completely open to whatever anyone else believes or doesn't) I do not however feel the Bible can be presented as anything but moralistic tales. Too many versions and too many kings and such changing this text around to suit their needs...

I do find it funny, how the story of a boat, belonging to Ziusudra, (also known as Atra-Hasis, Utnapishtim, and Noah), which originally only held his family and the known farm animals found in Mesopotamia, continued to grow in size with each retelling of the account, until it reached the size it is under Judaism. It went from the Euphrates river flooding over a seven day rain, to a deluge that covered the world, with a rain lasting for forty days. Talk about embellishing history, they sure did it.

This is a blight on my home state of Kentucky. Not only did our Tea Party governor allow them tens of millions in tax incentives, the owner, creationist Ken Ham, makes unmarried Noah’s Ark employees sign chastity vows before hiring them!! The hate-promoting group behind Ark Encounter also runs the Creation Museum, which forces employees to sign a pledge, one that “makes applicants promise to follow… orthodox Christian beliefs, including opposing same-sex marriage and believing all answers exist in the Bible.” These side-show attractions are using their tenuous connection to religion to ignore anti-discrimination laws.

Anybody find it inappropriate to serve what's the ultimate in-your-face non-Kosher lunch from a kitchen named for an old testament Jew?

Be sure to go to the 6:00 mark and look at the scale model. Listen to him explain how the animals were arranged, (according to Ken Ham), Smaller animal son the bottom, medium in the middle, and larger on the top. Anyone with half a brain, (Ken Ham doe snot qualify), would know that when loading a boat/ship, you put the largest, and heaviest cargo in the bottom for balance. So, once again. The creationist get it wrong.

Skyline uses cinnamon & Gold Star uses chocolate. My mom has worked at Gold Star for decades. It's easy to forget that most of the country doesn't even know about Skyline or Gold Star, but they are Cincinnati staples, & just as common & popular as all of the other fast food restaurants. Cheese coneys & chili spaghetti are delicious.

i am a christian, but i don't condemn or insult or name call or bully anyone that doesn't believe in god. what you believe is up to you and what i believe is up to me. if you want to have a civil conversation about religion and the bible i will be happy to do so, but you that dont believe in god or the bible seem to think its a free for all to insult and bully people. it shows your maturity level to have an adult conversation. my 8yr old granddaughter just asked me why would someone make fun of someone for their religion or the way they look or anything? thats so cruel. im glad we raised her to be a good and descent person who doesnt see color or makes fun of people for the way they look or what they believe in. if atheism means i have to act like you lot i will pass.

Um people I hope you know that Noah's Ark is just a rewrite of the older writings Gilgamesh, and Gilgamesh is a rewrite of Atra-hasis, and Atra-hasis is a rewrite of the Oldest of this story Ziusudra. Also there is 2 versions of the story written in the bible and there are differences in the animals and how long the flood lasted. Before you argue with what I am telling you PLEASE look it up for yourself. YES PLEASE even the flood stories of Noah, Gilamesh, Atra-hasis, and Ziusudra. Research PLEASE!!!!
