An Amharic version ' የልቤን ግን ' was written by Zeritu Kebede and performed by Vahe Tilbian for the soundtrack of the film 'Kemis Yelebesku'let.
This unplugged version was recorded at Aladdin Armenian restaurant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Here is an Armenian genie which was started by Nalbanian family in Ethiopia in 1930. Kevork Nalbandian followed by Nerses have left an indelible mark on Ethiopian modern music. Vahe Tilbian has come to add a remarkable contribution to Ethiopian Music elevating it into new heights and bringing it to world stage. For that, I give him Kudos. Bravo ! After reading this Armenian influence on modern Ethiopian music, I tried searching for Armenian music to see the similarities but so far I haven't found anything Armenian that sounds like Ethiopian music. If you're familiar with some, could you please suggest some songs for me. I'm genuinely curious.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Ethiopians brought ethiopian music to the world and not cause of Armenians' help. Have you heard of Aster Aweke? Teddy Afro? They sure didn't need Armenians to bring our music to the world. With that said nice collab with Vahe and Zeritu
