I'm of Maori and Italian descent but present white. I was born in NZ and grew up learning Te Reo from 5 years old. I loved my Maoritanga all the way through to High School where, because of my white skin, I got bullied, abused and ostracized (even though I knew my whakapapa and was almost fluent in Te Reo by age 12) This scarred me for most of my adult life and have only just started to come back around to my culture after forgiving the evil that was done to me. Your videos showing true appreciation, love and respect for Maori culture has been a big help to me during this time of transformation and forgiveness. Just wanted to say thank you so much for what you do. Arohanui brother!

Also if you want to watch some South Island groups (most of the groups you've reacted to are from the North Island), might I recommend Hē Waka Kōtuia or Te Wharekura ō Arowhenua? I don't know what Matatini-level groups there are from the South, but those are two high school rōpū which are pretty damn good

27:19 a taniwha (danifa) is a sea monster, a dragon like creature that went near extinct after the British stole the land. The pakeha deny its existence, us Maaori know places where they lived, whos tribe tamed them, where some were killed and where the bones are buried. we have seen taniwha and we believe alot of the ancient protector taniwha to still be alive because a few of them actually are. We have a guardian taniwha who swims around in the small part of Lake Taupo that we own, he sleeps under the cliffs of Rangiora, where we can visit him to thank him or do a karakia for good fortune or to help with something.

they are literally dinosaurs who are still alive, the more research i've done, the more i don't understand why they hide this truth away. almost every culture had dinosaurs, india, persia, the greek, hebrew, arab, tartarians, chinese, even british, and way more had DRAGONS, aboriginals, polynesians, micronesians, indonesia, and many more have sea dragons. how does the world even believe that they never existed at the same time as man when its obvious that they are lying (most likely has to do with money)
