A brief introduction to the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-24 Office synthesizer.

Addendum: You can turn on a click-track (metronome) by pressing Function + BPM. This cycles through sync modes, which include an audible sync-click on the beat. There are 6 sync modes, 0 being the one you will want to return to when you're ready to play without a click again.
Sorry about the strange noises in the VO, still getting used to my new lav microphone.

marcusivo they're honestly awesome. I got the PO-12 just to check it out and now I have almost all of them haha. You can find them in great condition second hand with case on reverb for pretty cheap too.

Having seen tutorials of the full range I would have to say this appears the most straightforward PO, almost mundane. Have actually bought all nine but taking my time. Only used Arcade and K.O so far. Ace little gadgets.

the only way to change the pitch of a sound is only through live?? i cant seem to hold a certain pitch of a sound and insert it to a sequence #

Only if you preorder the limited version. $139 USD and it comes with Microtonic. If you wait, then the PO-32 is $80-$90 and you don't get Microtonic.

hi , when i click on the pattern and the blank button it changes the pattern, it not erase it... what am i doing wrong ?

which blank button are you referring to? did you mean the 'solo' button on this PO-24? select the pattern you want to clear first by holding down pattern+number of pattern. then press and hold the 'solo' button, and while doing so, press the pattern button. that should clear the pattern.

that will be a newer CA-X case which is universal for any pocket operator the one hes using is a CA-24 which is specific to the office

So the point of POs is that they are quick n ez to use unlike a computer + sample pad, so you can fastly do a Jam with these neat and tiny things? Like more hobby or DJ stuff than producer stuff? Cause they are limited in samples right? Also very Nice to finally get to hear your sexy voice :D

Advice: make a video of all the general features of all the po's; you can be more specific on the uniqueness of the unit more in depth and keep attention overall.

The first thing most people want to hear are the sounds! Why not take 10 seconds and go through the sounds? That is what I and everyone else will be buying it for! The unit is built to create sounds. 8 plus minutes and we still have little idea of the sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I own three volcas and two monotribe I don't know why but it can't hear the synk of the monotribe But it can sync with volcas with no problem at all ! In both case korg products are the master clocks, but, you could use the PO as a master clock, with some stereo jack splitting
