How about all these tribes worth billions of dollars look after their own people, drag them out of poverty and house them ? I loath the term “our people” and find it divisive and racist but if they insist they’re their the own then why not help them and stop milking the government and taxpayer. Time to stop looking in the rear vision mirror acting like victims and move forward so we can ALL prosper as a nation of New Zealanders because let’s be honest, Maori were not peace loving people before NZ was colonised…!

As a kiwi with maori heritage ive lived for 64 years without the treaty and quite happy to see my life out without it. I have watched my people become slaves to Iwi, only because they themselves have become slaves to a political system that rewards a few. The human story is universal, every man and woman regardless of who and where they are, are conceived and born in the same way. When you interfere with the story of man kind, in a way that destroys human life, karma will come back to eat you. When Maori in the last 10 years supported there own destruction of wahine, to allow men to invade the space of a wahine, to allow our tamariki to be sexualised, and the worst, to allow a baby to die in a botched late term abortion without medical assistance, that was it for me. Maori sold there soul to the devil.
