I am glad I found this video, the message was short, meaningful, and to the point. Do not do the work of Allah for fame, because you will regret it. Do it for His sake, and even though you will be tested, you will find an incomparable level of peace. subhanAllah. She looks naturally beautiful :) ma shaa Allah.

Reflections: Background: This Surah revealed as one of the first surahs to the prophet. This one was calling him to start to preach. It was time to get out and tell the world about what was being revealed to him. This was the Surah that was calling him to be a dae. 1) You who is covered up- the first reaction that the prophet had to being called was to hide from it. To seek cover from it. Not to run to it but run away from it because he understood the gravity of this call. We should always start this way in the path to activism- with reluctance because it is a hard road to work. If you are doing it for the right reasons you will see there are many obstacles, few moments of personal satisfaction and glory. Check your intentions if you are not reluctantly accepting responsibility of activism. 2) Rise and warn- he was asked to rise and warn. Not rise and convert. Not rise and bring about results. The message he got was to rise and warn. We have to think of ourselves as messengers not outcome focused. This should help us relax. It’s really not up to you to bring about results. When you stand before Allah what you will be asked about is did you do it for Allah- for the right intentions. Ask yourself about your obedience and not the outcome. As soon as you attach yourself to the outcome you will fall into the traps of shaytaan. When you do this you will resort to a mentality of t he ends justify the means. Whatever happens as a result of your effort was not because of you and what happens is not for you to blame. Be a mail man not a missionary. Your role is only to have effort and intention 3) Glorify your lord- you have to be in this work for the glory of Allah and not for your only glory or the glory of your group. It is to glorify Allah and not anyone else’s brand. When people lose sight of this you have Muslims competing with each other for something you should work together towards. Sometimes the brand has overtaken the mission. There is so much work to be done so don’t compete then we are putting our band before the mission. Never lose sight that we are trying to glorify god and not ourselves 4) Purify clothing another is purify your heart- second meaning is essential. You have to do the hard work with daily work- do your morning and evening adhkar. If you are in the role of public services work has to come from a daily diet of purification. The activism has to take a backseat if you are not working on your spiritual diet 5) Shun this idol- essential saying shun false idols. Remove them from your heart. Idols of today are the ego, desire for fame, reputation. Constantly check your intention. Constantly check why am I doing this. Remove these false idols as they appear. Consistent effort to take them out of heart and intentions 6)do not give so that you may receive- don’t do things for self interest. Don’t volunteer because it is going to give you something back. 7) and to your lord turn in patience- first the word used for Allah is sustainer. The one who is taking care of you. When doing this work you will be tested and tried. It has to be Allah that you go to for sustenance. Group of friends have to be secondary. You will be up against some serious obstacles. One of them is slander. Slander is almost inevitable if you have a public role. Feel some rest in your heart that you are joining the ranks of the greatest people in history. The prophets. Be grateful for it because it is taking away sins and it is creating friction between you and the love of the fame you have. Sometimes you will be known. You might enjoy the praise and fame you might Get. The slander creates friction between you and attachment to that fame and that’s exactly how it should be. Think about what others have to go through for speaking a word of truth. If we deal with trolls on twitter they are facing tear gas. Slander we are facing is not deadly.

I want to be Death's apprentice to say 'Haw=HAw' when they realise they've believed in a big nothing all this time.
