Daisy Dog is a wonderful herd dog with her own chicks. Daisy Dog needed a little training/teaching to encourage her to herd chickens. I'll show you how I did teach Daisy Dog a few tasks, that help us to herd the chickens together. Now Daisy can herd the flock alone.
The old videos from Daisy's past are funny, and show how we started and tried different approaches to herding together.
Daisy Dog taught me a lot over the years. I laugh more, and enjoy all the fun we had, learning together.

My border collie learned SO quickly, it’s incredible. Watching them successfully learn tasks you’re teaching them is one of the most rewarding experiences. Tell Daisy she’s such a good dog for me! ☺️

Thanks Azinya for all the good tips. I've trained several hunting dogs over the years but now we have a 9 week Border Collie I was hoping I could train to help with our chickens. So far we've conquered Sit and Come in only a few days. I think your positive reinforcement philosophy is essential to having a happy and helpful companion.

I have a border collie, blue heeler mix that looks very similar to Daisy named Rosey which I thought was pretty funny. Was thinking about teaching her how to herd the chickens because she is very smart, and it would be helpful! Thanks!

Rosey will love helping with chickens. My chickens behave for Daisy, not me.
