😀 Thank you for taking the time to engage with our video and sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your input and respect your perspective on the matter. 🤝 It's essential to clarify that we are not against the LGBTQ community; our intention was to initiate a conversation about whether introducing the concept to very young children, as young as 3 years old, might have unintended consequences. We understand that some people believe introducing LGBTQ concepts early can help children accept diversity, and we respect that viewpoint. 👨‍👩‍👧 As a parent, we have experienced our daughter asking questions about same-sex marriage, which shows the complexity of the topic and the importance of addressing it thoughtfully. We agree that discussions about LGBTQ should be age-appropriate and sensitive to a child's developmental stage. There is no one-size-fits-all approach and timing matters. 👧🏻👦🏻As children grow and mature, they are better equipped to comprehend complex topics and navigate discussions about gender and sexuality. By waiting until their teenage years, we can provide them with a more comprehensive and age-appropriate understanding of these important matters. 👨‍❤‍👨👩‍❤‍👩 🙏🏽Thank you again for sharing your 50 cents on this matter. Through respectful conversations like these, we can learn from one another and grow as a community. Let's continue to foster an inclusive and understanding environment for everyone. ❤

it is a very sensitive and complicated issue and definitely not something for kindergarden kids. Do look the debates in American media because it has become a big issue in western countries. It is not education but conditioning, in new york parade they sang slogens like we are here, we are queer and we are coming for your children. The population of LGBTQ community has grown significantly in past few years. There are kids subjected to hormone therapy to stop them from puberty changes and become trans. So do your research and there is nothing wrong with being so called conservative. India respects transgender and we have a thriving hijra community, people know about them, they respect their presence and it is not cool to over fantasize and glamourize being trans.

It is great that you are opening a conversation on this topic. Norway is a marriage equality country and there are same-sex parents and families. Including LGBTQ+ education may not mean much to cisgender straight families, but it would bring a lot of positive identity to LGBTQ+ families and kids who learn to see this as normal and not taboo or sin. Your videos are fabulous and emphasize a lot on assimilation and integration and I am sure you are open to deconditioning and assimilating in an inclusive country like Norway.

Let me tell you my story. I'm someone from India who had been suffering from Gender Dysphoria since my childhood up until my 20s. I haven't been able to tell my parents or anyone since I was a little child about my gender because the environment around me strongly discouraged cross gender behaviors. This has suffocated me for many years and I was only able to come out in my adulthood. Teaching children at an early age that it's okay to be LGBTQ and creating an environment where they won't have to have this suffocation will help them a lot. Imagine, if your child has these feelings and not able to tell you because they think it is something not okay! And in turn you're causing the precursor for depression and other issues in them.

I accept where your point of View is coming from as i am from South East Asia originally. One thing i believe everybody would agree scandinavian Education is one of the best in the world. They teach about anti-racisim, inclusivity and diversity at a very early age. It is the way to make minority feel included. I have 3 hypothetical question for you : 1. Imagine your son is the only indian child in the class. All are white. And nothing about racism was taught at this age. And your son is made fun of, how would you feel? 2. Imagine your daughter prefers to wear boys dress. Everybody in the class made fun of her becuase she looks different and respecting differences were not taught. 3. Imagine your childs has a best friend in class. They are inseparable. But that friend has same sex parents. Both are wonderful parents. Will you say to your, child don't be friend as you are not comfortable with their parents?

My Opinion:- People who are different from Binary Society{LGBTQIA+} people exist in Hetero-normative world but not quite become 'Hetero' watching others But Feel like they don't fit/Strange. So, Kids watching (Parade) won't make them 'Homo'; on the opposite feel Binary is not rigid & If any "their feelings" are valid too. Watching Diversity of Cultures, Food, Religion,Clothes,Opinions,etc... are not Bad So why not "Partner". I don't think It will be traumatic to them. Also, Kids are Non-judgmental/More-accepting; they don't take things seriously. (If it's not Forceful). If someone don't like "Pride"-- don't participate or take a Vacation But don't invalidate Others 'Choices'. Indian Culture has "Mohini"{Vishnu's form}, Sikhandini(Mahabharat), Lord Ayyappa's Birth(Kartikeya), Arjuna's Son- Iravan, "Ardhanarishvar", Khajuraho Temple Monuments, Konark Sun Temple, etc...

The problem is people assume that teaching children about lgbt+ stuff can't be done in a child friendly. When people hear about it they immediately assume its going to be PG-18. When in fact they're absolutely kid friendly, I've seen of the books and they are completely suitable for kids the same way snow white and cinderella stories are, and you have bear in mind that some of these kids may have parents who are gay or lesbian or even trans, so learning about it in school would make other kids understand them and their family better.

Not allowing LGBTQI+ in education is a very slippery slope. Teaching this is about a broader understanding of tolerance, and includes topics like racism, freedom of religion et cetera. Personally, i would be very dissapointed if my kids embraced any religion. But in the name of tolerance, it is very important that they become educated from a very early age and i do think it's great that they teach kids about religion. Also, people do not become queer because of pride. But it might help people accept who they are and embrace it instead of living in shame. I would never want my children to live a life in shame, never being able to embrace their identity and feel love. I urge people who disagree to look up statistics on suicide in LGBT- people. Love between two consenting adults is always ok and I hope that all people find love.

As children get introduced to hetero-normative narrations and conditioning very early on in life (boy-girl distinctions and mother-father relationships) it makes sense that they should also have the full picture of the spectrum that is gender and sexuality so that they grow up to be individuals aware of and accepting of everyone. Secondly, one of the reasons why someone may perceive this as an “introduction of a concept” (it is not a concept or theory - it is the lived reality of people) and may experience resistance to the idea of children being taught about it, is because of own conditioning and concept of ‘what is normal’. To challenge one’s own conditioning, it may be helpful to look for information on sex v. gender (as a social construct) and watch shows like Schitt’s Creek or Sex Education. Thirdly, because you mentioned how religion (or perhaps you mean the information about the existence of different religions) is not taught, it is important to remember that religion and sexuality are not similar. Religion is not intrinsic or innate (it is socially inherited from family’s practices or learnt through other forum - it can be thought of as a club of people with similar beliefs) whereas sexual orientation is thought to be innate (it is still being researched to what extent genetic expressions are impacted by environment and other factors). I enjoy your videos very much - these are informative and helpful. I get the impression you would be open to engage and glean new info or another perspective, and hence this long comment. Cheers,

Teaching about LGBTQ in kindergarten is done in all western countries not just Norway. Children should be taught about the realities of the world at a young age so that they can grow up to be mature and responsible adults. Future generations will have a much tougher life due to overpopulation, climate change, high unemployment as AI will take over mundane jobs etc.

Its Norway. Its work against hate. You FORGOT TO MENTION that a Muslim terrorist killed gay people last year because of hate. Its about teaching That everyone has the right to be Themselfs. And live the life they want. Its also on the kindergardens lines to teach about empaty, solidarity, tolerance and acceptance. There are diverse families in the kindergarten. Kids with to moms or dads.. In the kindergardens Rammeplan is a mandat to do visible all the type of families and cultures, like from India and Pakistan. They teach about and celebrate divali and Eid. For me that is inclusuon and respect as well. If its too much for some peiple to accept the teachings of tolerance and liberty you can always live somewhere Else.

It's a terrorist*, its unnecessary to say 'muslim' terrorist. You can't blame a whole religion based off some extremist's actions. He's completely wrong for his actions sure, but don't throw it off on the whole religion, there's 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide, if killing innocent people was normal, It would not be accepted and going up in numbers, and we'd be in a catastrophe right now.

Gender identity is the profound and personal feeling of being male or female, neither or both. This feeling often appears very early in childhood, sometimes even at the age of 2 which continues through preteen and teen years. So it’s kinda important to talk about it, to make all kids feel INCLUSIVE and SAFE. And why does this drag queen dancing threatens parents. We see straight people dancing all the time- On tv, cultural programs , summers markets etc. so if that is ok, this should be ok too. Research shows that sexual orientation is likely caused partly by biological factors that start before birth. People don’t decide who they’re attracted to, and therapy, treatment, or persuasion won’t change a person’s sexual orientation. You also can’t “turn” a person gay by these early childhood experiences . This whole conversation is very important and definitely should be part of curriculum , so that no kid would think it is better to die than coming out to people about their sexual orientation !

Good that you took initiative to address it in right perspective giving your balanced view point. One of the argument addressed in Supreme Couert of India recently is that because of a particular attitude in society towards LGBTQ, many of them are going aborad and this is causing brain drain for the country. Let us not waste our talents just because of an old aged misconceptions

Of course they have to learn about accepting other people. This is primarily about biology and truths - well illuminated since the Late Iron Age. We help everyone who was born differently - whether they are missing a leg, born without arms, born deaf or blind. Some are born as Siamese twins. Man is not perfect. What should be prohibited is the introduction of religions to children. It is faith and has nothing to do with a child's brain. Keep the children out of religions until they are 18 - so they can decide for themselves whether it is a fairy tale, a psychopath's story or someone you can seek to have in your heart as a guide. Religion is absolutely nowhere near logic and has no understanding of consequences and is behind 90% of the world's wars and poverty. Additionally, it has little reference to 2023 because it is human writings - which are 1400-2500 years old

The average age to hit puberty is 11. So it's better if LGBT is introduced to the child at the age of 11 only. Coz at the age of 11, those things will make sense to them. At the kindergarden level they don't know what is what, they might be learning basic things like A for apple, or numbers.. and stuff. And if you introduce LGBT to them at that age they might not be able to understand it very clearly. If at the age of 11 or 12 we teach them about sexuality, puberty, and about LGBT then it will be right. As 92% of people are LGBT supporter, so there will be a very less chance that the childern will get aversion from LGBT because their parents are openminded in the first place. So why not teach them at the age of 11 itself. Why in kindergarden? Do they fear that the child will have aversion? Or do they think that the child will hold up their feelings and not share with anyone?. Even after you teach them at 11. There is a pretty high chance, that the childern will not get aversion as well as they will open up about their feelings too.

Thank you so much for raising this issue. It's very important issue and this is the biggest concern for us especially from an Asian background. We brought our children to these countries for better education and upbringing but instead of teaching them good things they have actually created a mess inside our children's heads. A baby who hardly knows how clean his pop is asked to decide are you a male or female. Probably some of them won't know the difference between both. This is not difficult or alarming for us but the natives too.

@NamastefromNorway
@NamastefromNorway 11 месяцев назад
Hello Manoj! When it comes to using your Indian mobile number in Norway, it depends on your mobile service provider and their roaming policies. It's advisable to check with your mobile service provider in India to inquire about international roaming options and whether they have coverage in Norway. They can provide you with the necessary information on using your Indian mobile number while you're in Norway. Regarding opening a new account as an NRI (Non-Resident Indian) in Norway, it's important to note that banking regulations and policies may vary between countries and financial institutions. It's recommended to reach out to banks in Norway directly to inquire about their specific requirements and whether they allow NRIs to open accounts. As for medical tests for a Norway work visa, the specific requirements can vary depending on the type of work visa and the regulations set by the Norwegian authorities. It's advisable to consult with the Norwegian embassy or consulate in India or a professional immigration advisor who can guide you through the visa application process and provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information on the required medical tests. Remember to always refer to official sources, such as the Norwegian embassy or consulate, for the most accurate and reliable information regarding visa requirements and procedures. I hope this information helps, and I wish you the best of luck with your plans to work in Norway!

@Aravind Thanks for bringing up this topic. In my opinion yes it feels quite disturbing to accept that kids would be exposed to these highly influential LGBTQIA+++ ideas/images so early. But at least they are getting exposed to some truth based on science instead of blind faith(which is something more degrading and disturbing in my opinion). So that's good I guess. Also as someone suggested it will help them understand and reveal their real identity as early as possible without being scared or ashamed about it.

With respect, i do not think you have completely grasped concept of pride. Did you ask any LGBT people at what age they felt they were different than what is generally expected. Normally you will find it is generally at a very early age . A lot earlier than puberty. For example, a boy kid may like pink dress and like to play with toy for girls. You cant say that kids have to play the supposed boy toy. How would it affect mentally to that child . Pride education is not about teaching sex to children, but it is about acceptance of diversity.

It is strange - as it is biological and well described since the Late Iron Age - long before religions. Religions, on the other hand, are not for children - it should have been forbidden until you are at least 18 years old. The reason is very simple - it is illogical, may be written by psychopaths or desire to rule and has no related consequences until 2023. Also, 90% of all wars and almost all poverty and famine today are the result of religious wars and their hate. Even within the same religion - they war with each other. Almost incomprehensible that human writings that are 1400-2500 years old can make normal people do so much wrong.

I support your thought Arvind. No need to introduce concepts which are irrelevant for kids at their age now. Primarily, parents should introduce these kinds of concepts at a suitable age and also their own views/opinion to them. I reject and wishes to discourage these unnatural concepts and wants to pass down the same to the next generation with proper reasoning. We should provide proper thinking approach to our next generation to identify these types of concepts not limited to the one we are talking about (maybe new and weirdest concepts may emerge in future), so that they themselves and future generations navigate through these tough times.

Generally ,we understand that Norwegians are very close to nature. But promoting an unnatural thing is quite an irony. Do we have lgbtq in animals or plants or in any other shape and form in nature? Promoting LGBTQ will also have an impact on the birth rate. And I think Norway is currently concerned and investing reasons for the same.

I think children should never be taught about this gay thing until they are in puberty or late teens. then they can make a intelligent choice on what they want to be. for me I think they should realise that one of our responsibilities on Earth is to procreate and that only happens between a man and a woman. there is so what if there is no what about. simple as that. this modern cancer of society is messing up every stage of community and family life.
