Aside from it being awesome that you’re teaching Sam, this video is really effective. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen of someone teaching someone else, in real time, from square one. Just the method alone of filming a lesson so to speak has the potential to make for a really great series. I feel like instead of just a tutorial, having someone else in the video actively asking questions is awesome for viewers that are here to learn. Can’t tell you how many videos I watched when I was getting started that just skipped the basics and had me 10x more confused. Well done Matt!

Mr Sam is such a cool guy to watch. I love his humbleness and excitement. I'd love to learn to tune. Just getting to really understanding the data-logging software and how to read it. It's amazing how some tuners can look at a log and get an HP estimate just from reading the basic log files and when they dyno it, turns out they are within 10-20HP. Learning to read a log has taught me a lot. Always good to learn new skills.

I love the fact that if the Cuban Missile Crisis kicks off again, Sam's ECMs will be immune due to the optimization of his electronic counter measure settings. But in all seriousness, you are a fantastic teacher. 🍻

This was very cool to watch!

All i got to say is matt is best tuner in the game i was 30 or so revisions deep with a so called reputable tuner and my truck wouldn’t idle right stalled all the time over 4 months of dealing with all the BS i decided to email matt. Matt started on my truck on a Saturday evening and had it all done running perfectly on monday he fixed all my issues.

U r absolutely right about the vlom. Valve lifter oil manifold. I am a gm tech and u wouldn’t believe how many times when I’ve had collapsed lifters u could take the vlom bolts out by hand

Definitely going to use some of this info from your videos when I tune the cam and turbo on my ls4 gxp I was able to customize a trailblazer ss intake and tuned it accordingly runs nice but after the 4t80 swap i am upgrading the engine more cam,bearings, rings, refresh the motor and slap a truck Norris and turbo on the sick puppy and it will be fun
