I was a stay at home mum in 1990s. We didn't teach rolling, just let our babies do it naturally. I'm now a grandma. Is this something we need to be teaching? Thanks. X
For kids that have delays, yes. But also a lot of kids aren't getting the floor time that they used to get because of the conveniences of equipment. This impacts their development.

Remember we didn't have the fears of laying baby on stomach and babies were laid on their side at bedtime with a rolled blanket behind them. Our fear was to put them on their back so most of the time they were on their tummy -we just didn't call it tummy time. Lol This gave them some side tummy time, too.
My baby is 6 months old on 2/2 and still is not rolling. What can I do to help her? She just screams the whole time and won't try. She doesn't play with toys either so I can't use those to help. The Pediatrician says to wait and see but I really want to help her out.

Generally it is belly to back first but we have seen the opposite when babies don't spend time on their belly. But in the developmental sequence it is belly to back first.
