It’s because you can tell he doesn’t really mean the messed up stuff. Like half the time he laughs afterwards like, “I cannot believe I just said that out loud”.
I was a virgin until my husband and we’ve been married 16 years as of yesterday. Everyone made fun of me too, I guarantee anything he’s saying to her she’s been told before lol. Everyone thinks you’re weird / freak etc. it’s nothing new
Making that choice is the most purest and humble form of a gift one can give themselves. I am proud of my choice! To all those who made that decision, let them preach otherwise! No matter what don't let them get into your head.
I feel you girl, I was 27 when I got married but before that guys always assumed that because I was pretty, that I was lying about being a virgin. Which was so frustrating. Because you make that commitment, and then everyone tries to make you fail. Glad to see someone else made it👏🏼
also a virgin till marriage. REMEMBER THIS, you attract the standards you hold. My staying a virgin till marriage you not only show how much you value and treasure yourself, you also provide your future partner a precious gift only for them. I think since not many people are virgins anymore, it just makes it even more precious.
I have, but usually before the show starts. Greg Proops, when he does his podcast live, can make 2 hours out of talking about the stuff people give him because he goes off on tangents.
probably cuz all the girls just simp over him and are trying to sleep with him cuz hes attractive. thats usually his fanbase. but hes got some dark himour jokes which detered some of the girls away but majority of them stayed.
Real talk- we all know that if a girl is a virgin it is BY CHOICE. It's easy enough to get laid as a girl (men are thirsty af), there's literally nothing wrong with waiting. Regardless, props to Matt this segment was hilarious.
@@JP-xd6fm I feel kind of sorry for this kind of brainwashed people that thinks that having S*x and Becoming a wh*re are the only ways to enjoy life tbh
What I love about Matt is that he engages with people he finds interesting; yes, he’s roasting them, but you can tell he’s genuinely interested in their story. The “thirsty” girl from ASU tried so hard to get her time and he just kept it moving and went right back to the people who actually had something interesting to talk about. He’s great at utilizing his audience to do comedic storytelling. He’s such a natural entertainer.
I've started believing that wholeheartedly myself. Too much shady research is coming to pass! Question? Is he wealthy + loved enough tho to fully get away with it for even longer, or forever?
I remember the first video of his I stumbled across many months ago, and watching this I realized how comfortable and natural on stage he is. I didn't have a favourite comedian but now I do. The thing about Matt is, he makes fun of people WITH them, and never means to offend them, and I love it. Keep it up xx
@@angeljazz22I wholeheartedly disagree. I'm a woman, but I'm pretty sure no straight man has ever thought, "I'm over this sh*t of having SO much p*ssy to choose from everywhere I go.".
I love her guts! I remember in college how other girls berated me for not having anyone, I ended up forcing myself to like someone. So fucked up, got into unnecessary stress.
@@mariyaukrainskaya9672 There's only *ONE* life. You should enjoy it a bit before ends. Really can't understand religious people! holy molly!, Waiting to marry to have sex!!!????, What about if you don't like How he does it!!??, Is forbiden to enjoy sex in religion?, You have to stay with a man forever and only have sex for reproductive purpouses I guess?... I'm sorry you have your brains so washed. You just miss *to live*
His sense of timing and style with a crowd is something we havent seen in ages. Hes not even in his prime and he's gonna be up there amongst the greats within the next 5 years.
@MrWarren1991 nah he'll hit his prime in the next few years. Stand up comics careers go 35-40 years sometimes more. He started early yes, but he's only really getting famous now in the last like 2-3 years and a lot of that is thanks to tiktok. Like I said, he's not hit his prime. He'll grow even more than where he's at now. It's not an insult at all.
@kasha5839 he's not on the level of Bill Burr, Dave Chapelle, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, people like that yet. He's only just hitting mainstream appeal. He's mostly known by the tiktok type of crowd. He's hitting that stride but he's been doing this a little over a decade now. Some comedians take longer some sooner doing their first special. Matt is right there on becoming the next big worldwide known comedian. 3-4 years ago people wouldn't have known who he was. That's all I'm saying.
In my opinion, his crowd work is top of the line. But, as far as his actual stand up material, it’s not the greatest. If that improves, then yeah, i’d say he’s gonna be an absolute force.
Yeah that's pretty cool. I bet and choose to believe it's probably an even a deeper level of healing for Helen too... Strengthening her in someway. There are gifts that we get in life from people; so fascinating to observe from a detached perspectivebecause the giver and receiver are sometimes unaware. Sometimes. I like Matt. I'm new to his work ( if it can be called work) and what I can say so far is that I'm confident that he's one of the special ones, chosen if you will, gifted and guided, and already has made this world a better place for many. Me included.
Now here's a guy who is EXCELLENT at what he does, he makes a ton of money, makes people laugh and have a great time and he is adored by millions of people! And he is obviously having a great time living life. Matt, you are truly a blessed man. I look forward to watching your career continue to skyrocket, my friend.
I'm starting to think that this kid is the best out , he makes me really laugh, and his public interactions are the best ever - hands down I mean it. I love this guy.
What makes Matt great is how impulsive and witty he is which is hard to do. Many great comedians spend months writing and perfecting the delivery of a joke in order to get the same reaction from the crowd that Matt does effortlessly. It's amazing the chemistry and vibe he has with the audience that makes him funny and relatable. My favorite!
I mean.. the dude was a part of wild n out show where lot of time they actually had to improvise, freestyle and roast on the spot. But he was always made fun of cause he was white and young on a black show. So kinda glad to see him doing good as a proper stand up comedian lol
Tbf the reason why people bring him stuff is because they know he will open them on the stage and come up with something funny, so the merit kind of goes to him for enabling this all in the first place (?)
Well now, that kinda does make his "stoke, poisoning, whatever" all that more sinister + suspicious, doesn't it? I hope he's doing better + can keep up the good work. He now has a lot more people [esp men] behind him willing to speak up for + with him! Go, Jamie! xox
@@Terrible_namehes a comedian . Not sure you know what their job is lol. If you hear him when hes not on stage you would kmow hes a very nice guy. But again, hes a comedian. And his job is to roast people. If you dont like it, then just dont go to his shows 😊😊
@@Terrible_nameIf you don't know you can get roasted at a comedy show then that's on you. Especially if you know it's not a wholesome type comedian. His crowd work is really good. I've seen people get roasted about having cancer and they've loved it. It's all about the delivery and the willingness to laugh at yourself.
@@jasl9987 I can name 5 of the best comedians ever and all waited around 7-10 years to even record a special. So did Matt. To think they aren't getting more comfortable as they progress just shows you've never been on stage. Hush.
@@jasl9987 if you’re trying to claim he’s always been this good since Wild N Out then you need a mental check-up. Almost every comedian on earth gets better every year. Stop being stupid.
Or, which is usually the case, very young, naive, + thrilled to be bragged about + told "the sky's the limit" by someone they [at that time] admired + respected. That's a long hard, jagged fall to make when reality does finally sink in! Esplains a lot of the Bankruptcies + sadly the suicides.
I swear Ive never laughed for 15 min so hard. Dude is next level. Anyone can write a show. His show just kinda goes off the rails and creates itself every time.
Congrats;🎊 👆 you were selected amongst my random contest winners for the ongoing MacBook and iPhone 14 giveaways 👆 write me on my official NICEGRAM above* ✍🏼
This man was made for stand-up comedy. He’s quick witted and never misses a fucking beat. I have to go see this man. In the future, he will be one of the best ever. 💯
im driving from san diego to pheonix to see him in may 2024. gonna be worth it. was only like $375 for 2 tickets 19th row vs in san diego for nose bleeds for $1000+
In a matter 24 hours I went from not knowing who Matt was to him being one of my favorite comedians. Easily in the top 5. Probably even top 3 in all honesty.
What makes Matt so great is the fact that everyone sees him as some "duckboy" untill they hear him and realide what a kind hearted, considered to others sith struggles and humble he is!
It's a new Millenium, + sadly Evil does WIN way more often than Good these days. At least we're aware now + starting to talk about it, keep our eyes + ears open, + hopefully find some excellent Lawyers who will brake these "Slave Style" contracts where the Artist, who does all the work, finally gets 80% of their Pay, instead of a mere 10% at most, which is pathetic + premeditated.
Can you imagine being in his circle of friends? I’d have a 6 pack like 2 weeks into the friendship. Netflix, MAX, Hulu, someone give this man a damn special DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH BUSINESS YOU WOULD GET?! He’s already made a permanent mark in the history of comedy… he’s arguably the best in the scene. Incredible talent.
@@kittenswithketchup oh I’m not dismissing that. I know he already has worldwide reach but on the major streaming services God only knows what doors will open for him.
@@jacquelinelevan9347 nice! I didn’t know that. My point is the sky is the limit. Look at what he’s already accomplished by himself. I’m, by no means, as I stated earlier, lots of doors and opportunities can open like writing for tv eventually or acting or things like that. It up to him which ones he will get into, if any, because his standup career is booming. Literally no means to be disrespectful 🤷🏻♂️. You know, like the tone of your message? 😉
Wouldn't say he's the best in the scene right now. He's charismatic, has good stage presence, but his improv/crowd work jokes are not very clever and his written stuff isn't much better. He's had a few flashes of really brilliant crowd work, but it is usually is pretty average. Majority of the reason he gained so much traction is because he's a halfway decent comedian and super attractive. I think Mark Normand is probably the current best of the sorta new wave.
I love Matts work and laugh hard at his comedy, but this video had me laughing so hard that my face started to cramp up!! Gotta love this guy... Happy all your hard work has finally paid off!!!
I’m 66 and have never been offended by Matt. You’re absolutely correct, he is an escape of sorts and is very spontaneously funny. Being 66 also means I’ve seen my share of horrific times 10. Feel the pain, power through and use it for good. There will be light and lightness in time. ❤✌🏼
it cant rain all the time , Do the best you can. No one can do more than that. No matter the amount of negativity that comes your way, smile because you are still alive. Nothing is more precious than life.
And keep looking for what gives you a moment to relax and laugh. Matt seems able to pull a surprise in everything he says-even to HIMSELF. I think that is the key to his special brand of hilarity. I spend a LOT of time on RU-vid watching animal videos. That's a way to relieve stress that never fails. Sending you love & pink bubbles. 🩷
Sorry that you're going through rough times. You're not alone, I've been doing the same. It's been great to actually be distracted and have everything around me switch off for a bit, even better if it makes me smile or have a giggle. Keep soldiering on. Kia kaha (stay strong) 💜
What a guy … funnest stand up Iv seen for years. I’m not sure I could ever go and see him live because sometimes I have to pause it because I’m laughing so hard i feel like I’m dieing.
Matt is always so truthful and to be honest I don’t see why people hate on him he’s funny and even did a show in memory of his grandfather so he’s a great guy and honestly I’d love to see a show just one time… one singular time 🙂
Matt continues to amaze me with his talent and his quick wit with the audience! He is hasn’t even hit his prime and he is selling out shows every night! Don’t stop what you are doing Matt!!
The fact that he is still young and comfortable with having fun on stage along with the audience makes it sooo much better. Hes gonna be a Comedy legend. It Would be great to see him in ATL!
Dave began Comedy at 14, so he + Harvey has been in at least 30+ years. That's a long time to see + hear thru the grapevine, + watch beloved friends in the Biz just disappear, as Dave kept saying. "Poof" + they're just gone, thru drugs, breakdown, plane crashes, an assortment of odd ways to go! I believe every word, + I'm not a conspiracy person, I like facts, + he's not just handing them out left + right, he's been naming names to go with the bad deeds. I'm now worried for him! xox
you needddd to do another special your literally so hilarious me and my parents watch your hour specials and bond bc your jokes are so funny and honest it amazing
Matt’s so natural with people. I like that he mixes genuine conversation in with his jokes. Then he’ll make something sound genuine, meanwhile he just ended your life 😅
I absolutely love his work!! I have been going through a hard time and dealing with grief and when I come across one of his videos it just puts me in a better mood. Thank You for all the laughs. ❤️ You have saved me. Thank You for that. Sending love and hugs.
Bro. props for real. You have a big life to live up to with Helen for sure. I love that your act is interaction with the audience. You are good at it. Good for you, i have a ton of respect
I think the reason people love him so much, he's literally just a walking Intrusive thought, and the things we try and tell ourselves not to do, he just acts on them and deals with things later and it just so happens he's been blessed to have the thoughts go his way when he has them
Matt will go all the way to the top and being there , a lot of comedians who are insecure will be envious. They only throw stones at fruit bearing trees. Keep it going Matt , push it as far as it will go . Its just for laughs !!!!!
damn bro being at your shows must be a great time. i love watching ppl get to do what they love. you're literally getting paid to have the time of your life
I swear the world is going to fall in love with Matt! He’s an amazing comedian and human being! I hope he has an enjoyable life outside of stand up. He deserves it!
