Really helpful video, particularly the kettlebell deadlift part. I have struggled with my hinge form on that lift, but seeing the starting position really helped me keeping my arms at full length on the lifting movement therefore not engaging my arms and shoulders so much. Will check out your other videos. Thanks!
I'm glad to have found this video, specially about the general hip hinge movement and how to properly execute the trap bar deadlift. I'm someone who finds it difficult to properly execute the conventional and the sumo deadlift and most popular videos don't go into the details I need to be able to properly perform the trap bar. Will definitely start incorporating the trap bar deadlift into my routine!
Great question. Start slow. If a client previously had pain with a movement, they’ll likely have an aversion or negative beliefs surrounding that exercise. Work towards it at a pace that allows them to build back their confidence. In rehab, much of the progression can be psychological as physical.
