I make overnight oats, but use yogurt instead of milk, and i just stick it all in the (pint) mason jar in the fridge over night. No need to dirty so many dishes, and I don't want to waste time cutting fruit in the morning. It's fine to throw it all in at night. It might not have such a pretty layered presentation, but if you want a quick breakfast it's great.

I laughed so hard at the 1 and 1/2 joke about his finger. My Dad was missing fingers on his right hand(missing 1 whole finger and 1/2) and he used to tell young children that is what happens when you pick your nose. His fingers were caught in a newspaper machine and pinched off when he was in his early 20s.
