There is always the single french horn that never has their camera on. “ Come on Mason you are the only French horn in this period please play your E.” Love you Mr. Chamberlin.
I'm so glad you get to teach band students. I am not permitted to do it this year. So I can teach theory, and I am trying to put a play/concert together with percussion, pianos and guitars. But what you are showing here is exactly what I had this past spring when we went remote...hang in there!
Hahahahaha! My son is currently in his virtual band class. I don’t know how you are doing it..but props to you. Here they have both in person and virtual so the teachers are having to deal with both at the same time...plus all of the spit that comes out of instruments.
we actually get to have band in person at my school, but we're not allowed to play our instruments. we just fake play without mouthpieces. but to make sure we're practicing, we have playing grades every week.
The music classes at my school use this thing called MusicFirst and it’s so much fun! You should check it out (I’m a student and practice first has become my favorite thing)
As one of his students, I can say we do a lot of this on purpose. If you made your way down here, then congratulations.... What? Did you think I was going to say just kidding?
y’all’s band seems so much fun, my hand is interesting, but we have several students i just don’t understand why they are in band. sleepers, the lot of them. our band sounds so good in class but so bad in public because they don’t play in class ( they’re asleep) but do play with no idea what they’re doing at performances
1:00 not only you don't know how to spell and what does a mic have to do with camera if these kids going to use excuses they need to think I mean now I see why half the teachers are just begging then giving up I see now.
