Thank you so much for inspiring me! I viewed this video last summer and it made me want to try this strategy to encourage students to visit the school and class library. My students are in middle school. Though they are a little older than your little darlings, but they still enjoyed it very much. We had three book tastings over the course of the school year. We had a tea party (novels) theme, a Marvel/DC (comic book/graphic novel) theme, and a STARBOOKS ( I found this on TPT _teachers pay teacher website _ using (non-fiction and poetry) books. I plan on using this again next year. :)
Such an interesting fun activity! Loved how you had them write down things...it is nice that you can find out what each of your kids likes. I loved your hair, so pretty!
This is such a neat way to expose student to other types of books. Can't wait to try this with my 7th graders this fall! Also thinking I might have a discussion with our Learning Resource teacher about doing this in the library with every grade in our school!
It's been difficult for sure. Luckily, I'm vaccinated and wearing a mask. Quarantines rules are strict as well as sanitation protocols. Just taking it one day at a time though. :-)
