Beast bro..... I raced indoor for the first time ever with mine and first qualifier got 1st and second qualifier got 2nd. Putting me in the A main with all the top dogs and then I got smoked lol. I took out my Tekin rsx and ran a turnigy trackstar turbo 120a and turnigy trackstar 9.5 a total of $70 worth if electronics and I couldn't tell the different.

+RC401Central As for short Course buggy......The best on the market is the Pro-Line Pro2-SCB. If you meant truck, I would recommend the SC5M, hand down!

I think it's awesome how there going back to aluminum chassis even on the tenth scale buggys. And if it's best for a tenth scale buggy it's gotta be best for everything. I've never liked how the electrics all started going plastic for the chassis. Like the E Revo I've never had any interest in for this reason. If I want a e Revo it will start from a Revo 3.3.

Nope, it comes pre-"scuffed" as that's the way most people run rear wings, as they typically don't last too long! I'll probably add some stickers though

The Direct Drive system is intended for high traction surfaces like high bite clay

I prefer the RCS Graphics chassis guard, they have pre-cut holes for the screws. The Schelle and JConcepts ones do not.

Hi thanks for the great videos. I am new to RC and just built the B5M to the exact specs that you did. Was wondering about gearing for the car. What would you use for just bashing and casual use in regards to a spur and pinion on the B5M as well at the RC10T4? Thanks

Dave Savage depending on the motor you selected (I'm running an 8.5t) I'm running the stock spur with a 20t pinion

JAMMIN RC Hey Jammin, I'm so horrible sometimes with updates and things I've said in videos! lol In fact, I'm gluing up some tires today for the B44.3 and was thinking......about that exact thing! My D413 has the Stickeez, but I will glue up the B44.3 without......Then interchange the wheels (I have the 10mm hexes for the D413) and report back

The B5 (M) platform has been out for a few months. So many people were going mid motor (TLR22, RB6) and those kits had the parts included. On the Associated platform (the previous B4.2) you would need the rear motor kit and the aftermarket Centro conversion to get mid motor on a Associated car. Basically, you would be over $500 for an AE car that's mid motor. The B5 platform gives you the option now

+kav I would stick with the Team Associated products. Mostly because you are so familiar with them. The B5M Champions edition would be my choice now....tons of proven upgrades included

Possibly a good price depending on the upgrades....I believe the kit originally retailed for $309 - so a stock used roller should be in the $150 range - not sure if this is an ebay/CL deal, but try and inspect the RC before making the deal. Spin the driveline, feeling for binding, wobbly items, grit, cycle the shocks, etc Since the B6/B6D came out (just like any new model) the market gets flooded with a ton of the previous gen. As for upgrades, factor in 25% of the retail value, as not every upgrade is needed in a race vehicle. Hope this helps

To be honest........It's going to depend on your weight distro. I have both on hand so when I test my newly built B5M, I can go with either. I have the Trak Power block Lipos and 3 of the Team Orion 90c Shorties. Obviously, the block will have more run time over the shorty

Direct from Pro-Line.....but this is a really old model (B5M) along with Pro-Line I believe discontinuing the entire phantom line

+Derp .though ti said for bashing AND racing......Yes, the B5M is a great platform. Take a look at the Champions Edition (B5MCE) It has a ton of extra upgrades from the original versions. Rivkin and Cavalieri run that chassis now

The B5M and B44.3 are two totally different buggies. The biggest difference is 2wd vs 4wd. It really depends on your driving skill level, as 2wd is harder to drive than 4wd. With that, the B44.3 is much, much better than the B44.2, so that's a plus! If you're in the market for a 4wd buggy, you should def consider the Hot Bodies D413. That thing is rock solid!

TeamDadandSon To be honest, my D413 came in right when I finished the B5M build and after driving both one day, I couldn't get enough of the D413........The B5M is a great 2wd buggy, but I really enjoy the sheer speed and agility of 4wd buggy

Oh my god stop talking about it and open it up and show us the cool stuff inside. No one cares about the tires. They all know what a good tire is. Open it and poke the stuff. Clip a wire and see what happens. Seriously how much would it cost? $10? And don’t lie you would love to play with it to fix it. Do it and record it and show us bro.
