hey im thinking of building this, can you help me with some stuff? can you tell me what additional components you used and where i can get them? total cost should be below 250$

I havent made many changes from the kit other than changing to a different set of turnbuckles/tie rods that are 3.5mm (kit is 3mm I believe) from RC Speed Secrets, I actually didn't change to those till a few months of racing the car, other wise the car is kit stock aside from chassis set up (springs, shock oil, camber, toe angle) but that will all depend on your own track if you choose to drive at one for how to set it up, same with what tires to use as the kit does not include wheels/tires. It's good to have a good set of allen drivers when assembling. For electronics I use Fantom Racing for the battery, motors, and speed control, the servo I believe is from Protek, and receiver is from Sanwa
