Hello my friends 👋🏻 As coincidence would have it, I’m actually back at that track today. So I’m out for the full day playing with toy cars 😅😅😅 I’ll jump into the comments on Friday and catch up with you all 🤓👊🏻

Be careful Glen, this indoor carpet racing gets addictive real quick... full grip all of the time, no dirt or clay to clean up, weather is a non issue. So what I'm saying is lets see some more running footage brother.

That buggy looked really good, despite that track being way too short for it to really stretch it's legs! These sort of buggies are totally different from most Tamiya's, they are thoroughbred racers whereas most Tamiya buggies racing is an afterthought. Great video anyway, keep it up mate👍👍

Looks like you had a lot of fun! The B74.1 is the latest 4wd from Team Associated, so that's the newest and greatest. I have most of the latest 4wd buggies from the race brands, and people gave me a lot of $hit when I said my Top Force Evo re-re just doesn't compare to a modern buggy, but there really is a huge difference!

Hi Glenn, Great vid as always! Peter's car looked like a real handful to be honest?! No rear grip, -immediate power-off oversteer... pretty small, point and squirt track though, have to get all the deceleration done on the straight then power through the corner ...? - 'ark at me ;) Good work as always Glenn, -think you'll enjoy a 2wd, on good tyres, you can bias grip really easily with battery position :)

Great video and car....I have the B74.1D and the B6.3D. In terms of the 4wd, the Team Associated is amazing and probably my ultimate buggy. Love my 2wd B6.3D but my 2wd Yokomo YZ2CAL3.1D is out of this world and the build was just sublime, the quality is lovely nothing comes close aside from Xray. I have a Sworkz S12-2D to build and something tells me I'm going to enjoy it as the kit looks out of this world! The bit and expensive bit for me is getting and putting the best electronics in each that's possible! I think my just B74.1D, car and electronics cost me close to £1000.......and that's not including the radio gear!

Your clearing that jump nicely now Glen and landing on the down ramp too. Just a little smoother on the throttle and youll be all good. Stop the throttle blipping and smooth your driving out a little and times will improve massively. Such a big different compared to your earlier track visits. Good to see!

Well Glenn this video blew my mind 🤯,there's some things my mind can't handle, for one the car looked more tricky to handle than the others I've seen u drive at this track, also it didn't look mega quicker than your other cars but somehow it was making that difficult jump look so easy🤔.I does seem like fantastic car, I've been looking at them myself recently but the only thing that puts me off is that modern body shape,I hate the driver cab being so far forward,if I got one I would do my best to fit some sort of recognisable tamiya body on it. Cracking video as usual buddy 👊🇬🇧 ps sorry that was a long comment 😂

Very nice car👍 but man! They need to take that section that sticks out In front of the drivers stand out and make a straight out of it. Because that's to big of a jump with to short of a landing then that quick of a turn immediately after is no good! If that was a straight that would be alot smoother track. And they still have enough corners for it to still be a technical track. I bet that spot been the focal point of a lot of crashes during an actual race. But cool video either way. I would definitely talk to the drivers to then talk to the track owners. It would be a way better track and to have that big of a jump right in front of the driver stand would be badass 👍

Oh wow, at around 2:40 that jump and following corners were beautiful Glenn! and again around 6:20, and 7:30 !! Very pleasing to watch!! Well Done mate!! It shows that if you get the jumps right, the car will "flow" through the following corners!? What's obviousely mega difficult is getting all the little steps of the track fitted together for a semaless lap!! Very very hard!! LOL. Ace video thanks Glenn!! I can see this channel going far with time! Thanks as always Glenn! All your hard work is very much appreciated my friend!! Wes, Liverpool UK.

Night and day difference on the big jump compared to the older cars you ran. I think with a bit more acceleration the older cars might have managed the jump slightly better than they did but the B74.1 just looked far better balanced in the air too. Would be interesting to see how much is down to the acceleration though.

Nice car no doubt. I still drive my '89 vintage goldpan rc10 and it still puts most modern cars to shame regarding handling and suspension performance. Of course it's no longer relavant technically but there's just nothing like it. Still the best rc car I've ever driven. The new associated stuff looks great too, from a tech standpoint BUT, ugh! Those bodies! They are so unfathomably aweful! Modern buggy bodies are just the most terrible looking thing ever! They look like cartoon characters. As a scale body modeler and paint enthusiast, you must cringe at these modern bodies. That would have to go. No scale appeal at all. Take that car and put one of your kickass scale custom painted buggy bodies on it and you're set. Cheers.

I gotta be honest, that's a really ugly track. It's way too tight. The owner of the ae looked to have the wrong tyres in the rear or not enough toe in. It rotated way too much on corner exit. If you can try a larger outdoor track or a larger carpet track. Carpet can be tricky especially on a very tight track like that. You seemed to be over cooking each corner entry, I think you need to put the transmitter on say 50 max throttle, or whatever the minimum is needed to clear the big jump and practice with reduced throttle limit, this will then let you just focus on braking and turning for now. Once you get used to it you can take the throttle limiter off. Also it looked like you could have reduced the steering throw on that ae. It had way too much steering

@@peterrenaud9639 yeah yellow Schumacher cactus is the go to for a carpet tyre. I saw the video on Facebook, the tt0b is so much more planted on the rear but still rotates upfront. The new track layout looks better imho.
