Good review. My B74.2 was a bit front heavy. Not sure why, I use the Hobbywing QuicRun 120A ESC with a QuicRun 10.5T motor. Also a low profile servo. But did add about 40 grams to the rear and now it jumps flat and good. Would be nice if the battery tray had more tuning possibilities for moving battery more to the rear, but then the car layout had to be redesigned so understand that would be a big change. A note, the first batch of the B74.2 had no oil in the bearings. Noticed it after some ball bearings smoked and had it confirmed by the seller and Team Associated.

Thanks for the info about the bearings, I didn’t know that. I went straight to Whitz ceramic bearings from the get-go.

Would you explain the difference in feel/performance of the center gear and the center slipper? I run a 13.5 type racing class and think the slipper would be lighter, faster?

Thanks for another great review.👍 I think one of the best qualities of your reviews are the comparisons with other brands' offerings within the same class of vehicle. Will you be doing more 1/8 race buggy reviews after your EB48 2.0 series? It'd be cool to see how the RC8B4e, XB8E, 8ight-XE, EB48 2.0/1, etc stack up against each other under the Razor RC lens.

Thanks! I’m not going to do a 1/8 shootout for a few reasons (too much $$$ and I don’t have a true 1/8 track nearby), but I’ll be doing a 1/8 nitro RTR buggy shootout soon.

I have the PR 1/10 4WD racing buggy. Not a common brand but certainly as competitive as the other makes.

Hi man. I have a question about the Xray xb4 and tlr 22x-4. You own both buggy's. I have a Xray xb4 but I'm not fully satisified about the shocks. Would the tlr 22x4 shocks fitting the Xb4? Would the car driver better or worse? The tlr front shock are 36.5mm and mine Xb4 2022 only 32mm

Thanks for another nice review. Random thought: I've always wondered why the threads for rear wheels are longer than front.
@RazorRC
@RazorRC Год назад
the fronts are super deep dish to push the wheels out to the corners and have long arms, but that doesn't leave much room for threads to still be race legal.

Have you ever checked out any of the PR Racing vehicles 2wd or 4wd ?

I wasn't expecting much with the .2 but it does steer much better and a little quicker handling. Takes a bit to get used to but their best handling wheeler yet 👍 AE seems stuck in the 90s with their build quality but having been in this game for a while, not a big deal. And a decent battery brace, FINALLY - first thing I normally upgrade. You never seem to give AE shocks a fair shake but in this case, I have to say I'm not sold on the 13mm size (still think AE makes the best shocks, though 😉). The B74.2 is fast, easy to drive, durable and excellent parts support - the club racers go to chassis!

THANK YOU, great review. I'm just starting and am looking at the Team Associated B74.2 or the RC10B7. Which do you like between the 2❓Best wishes, Pete

4x4 easier to drive. 2wd typically has more competition though so it's fun because there are more people to race against

Hi! Love 💕 your videos!! I’m getting into 1/10 4wd indoor buggy racing and they build different tracks each week out of this rubbery flexible plywood stuff. Would a dirt or carpet kit be best, since the track is really neither 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am looking at either the B74.1 or EB410.2 or X-ray. Which would you suggest? Thank you for any help!

Thanks for watching, I'd probably get the carpet, sounds like higher traction. As far as which car, if you're in the U.S., you can't go wrong with Associated!
