Your release car is now quite valuable. Did you know that there are some differences between the original RC10 and the release? The gold parts are a slightly different color. I tried to get the release gold parts to restore an original RC10. The gold parts have a slightly different color, and you can not do that. Also the release was made in Taiwan , but the original was made in California. Thoughts?
Thanks 😊 yes getting expensive now 😬 there are some differences, but I'm no expert on them so can't really tell you what , and yes the gold color isn't the same on the chassis.
Yeah, man, you are so right, it's a beauty! It's the classic RC over them all, I can understand the appeal of it! Thanks for showing us yours and the good babble in good old Scandi-English, I always enjoy that. Yours looks great, the darker orange is nice, and the added headlamps look great on it. Now all it needs is some electrinics and a battery, so you can take it for some gentle runs and show us also... I was lucky enough to drive one a couple years ago, my neighbour has one, I really liked it, although it was overpowered and with worn tyres, still great handling buggy! Nice one, buddy!

That sure brings back memories. The (original) RC/10 was the first car I really wanted back in the 80s. Somehow though every time I was going to buy one I ended up getting something else. I probably had half a dozen cars between '86 and '95 before I finally got one.

@@newinbox Sadly the project one is still in pieces, I keep getting sidetracked with other things. The problem with too many projects going at one time. I have to get the hardware cleaned up and the can work on the reassembly.
