Thank you !! I really appreciate your comment ... Thats exactly what i go for on my channel ... I run them how i think most ppl run them and i enjoy it more taking the car home in 1 piece rather than breaking them on purpose for the sake of views 👍🏻
These 3s trucks are great if you dont want to spend big bucks on 6s rigs, parts are a lot cheaper as well. You also save even more money buying 3s batteries over 6s batteries. They are also a lot lighter & smaller when lugging around, luv em. Great bash man, stay safe.
The Mt10 just handles so much better IMO. The Grsnite is like on ice skates. The rear can't ever get enough grip. The MT0 with lighter rear springs will almost oversteer which is what I love about it. It breaks loose just enough. I could never get the granite to handle well. I'm just used to AE cars I guess. Rich Duperdash's Granite seems locked in. Mine never was.
After waching mutliple youtube videos on both of these and checking the comment sections I decided to get the Rival MT10 V2. Its my first serious RC and its an absolute blast. I destroyed the servo in 15 mins because I set it to 9 like a dummy instead of 4 so it got stuck. Upgraded that piece to a 35KG Servo from amazon ($30) and its already way better.
Great trucks, like you said both amazing but I do have a soft spot for the MT10. I was looking at getting MT10 and kraton 4s next week but may have to rethink the kraton for the granit. What's your opinion?
The rival mt10 imo is a must have if you love monster trucks ! Check out some of my other vids on the kraton 4s , its a total beast too ... granite and kraton are two different handling rc's, it all depends on what you are after ...
10 comparison videos later and i still cant choose. But the idea of the center diff is slowly winning me over. I do like the extra little speed and size on the granite though.
@@kaosr.cyep center diff handles so much better. i have a senton and on loose dirt its all over the place. ive tried all kinds of things to make it stay strait (diff oils, shocks, shock oil, springs, made sure all the bearing where good, toe....etc) and it is still a handful. my losi tenacity tt pro drives like its on rails and it has a center diff.
Nice comparison! I wonder if the new mt10 is as good as the original 🤔 the mt8 was horrible, not very durable and almost seemed like it was made by a different company, I may have to pick this one up, good run brother!🤙
Thanks man I heard all bad thing on the mt8 which is disappointing because i would have liked it ... both these trucks performed awesome on the track 🔥
Probably was made by a different company. Wasn't the MT10 a rebranded Helion Avenge? My guess is none of them were designed by Team Associated themselves. This is not meant to be as a knock against the car, btw.
@@JustFun-ho6qyyup. Helion Avenge XLR. Many people dont know. Gill Losi Jr. designed the platform. It wasn’t TA engineers. I have the Helion. Thankfully TA picked it up. I was pissed whn i realized what an awesome rig it was and it was discontinued. Somehow everyone over looked it. It took a long time for everyone to realize how good the rival is. Helion came out wth the 10MT and an SC and all the upgrades TA has been slow releasing plus a metal spur u still cant get at the release ov the Avenge. T Bone made a bumper too. The plastics and metal/hardware were better on the Helion too although mines just covered in TA parts now. ✌️
I couldn't pick a favorite between the two, I think the Granite is a bit quicker but they both have excellent power at 3s! I wouldn't get bored with either one!
Couldn't agree more man , both performed perfectly today and love every minute of that bash , ill be taking them with me whenever i go from now on , thats how much fun they are ... thanks for watching 🤘🏻🔥
@@kaosr.c What kind of battery life do you get with the 3s runners? Do they last as long as the bigger trucks? I got enough rc's now but I wouldn't mind getting one or both of those trucks soon, and they're cheaper to fix...
Seems pretty even, except for having to junk the motor and ESC on the Arrma...Then there's the suspension that needs dealing with-on the Arrma. Not really a contest, is it? They cost about the same new, then how much on top of that, to get the Arrma where it is in this video? I've been running my MT10 since May, bone stock, and have replaced nothing. Gets up on the wheelie bar, with my 2S SMC batteries, and is more drivable than on 3S. I did slap some duct tape, around the rear lip spoiler. Running on concrete, that area attracts damage, when I put it on its lid.
I realy wonder if thats a fact. The granite should be ran at at least a 17t pinion. And that makes is a lot faster as the mt10. Granite tires are also a lot better. I would prefer the Granite also for parts availability (in Holland). Shocks can be setup different offcourse. I best quess is out of the box the mt10 is better. But if you put 1 hour work into it the granite will outperform the mt10
@@FrankvdBergthe granite is only a few mph faster than the mt10. The shocks aren't very good, it would need new ones and still doesn't handle as good as the mt10. The granites durability is also crap and the mt10's durability is incredible. The mt10 is an all around better truck.
The Mt10 also has a center differential. Should make cornering quite a bit easier. Top speed doesn't really matter an awful lot on a race track anyways.
I only own a mt10 ans it’s the only truck I’ll ever need. My mate bought a arrma big rock 3s at the same time and that piece of shit has spent more time broken 😂 yeah it’s faster but build quality it dog shit
