The way savitar and godspeed lose to nora and cecil is just pure comedy

The baddies were defeated so easily it makes you wonder why it took Barry an entire season to beat them.

When Nora just phased the blade through herself I was like "FINALLY SOMEONE USED THEIR BRAIN"

This is everything we didn't want. The writers don't care, its very clear in this final episode. Thank you Grant and Tom.

I love how 2 of the heroes are non-speedster and they didn't die immediately against beings who can move faster than light.

Potentially the best final episode ever, executed the worst possible way. Could've had so many fantastic returns and fights but instead you have insurmountable villains beaten by new metas in seconds.

Love how Palpatine taught them speedsters how to use Force Lightning to kill. 😂

The fight between Cecile and Godspeed had me rolling on the floor laughing. She goofily waves her arms and single handedly defeats and army of speedsters just like that. Also apparently she can just fly now because why not? The writers forgot what her powers were a long time ago lol

They really built up the hype of bringing back all the villains just to defeat them all in the span of 30 seconds.

It took Barry, Oliver, and Firestorm to defeat Thawne in a 3v1. Allegra 1 shots him. It took Cisco, Frost, Barry, Jay, and Wally to defeat Savitar. Nora 1 shots him. Barry was never fast enough to defeat zoom. Fake Caitlyn one shots him It took Barry and Thawne to defeat Godspeed in a 2v1. Cecile defeats him. On of the worst finales I’ve ever scene. It’s like the writers have never seen their own show Edit: so I was wrong, Barry did defeat zoom. Cut me some slack guys, that was 8 years ago.

They did exactly what I was scared of, the speedster villains were defeated so easily it makes you wonder why they were ever a threat at all

I honestly think it would’ve been cool to end with Barry’s peanut gallery watching him do 5v1, and truly showcasing how fast he’d gotten. Outmatching all these speedsters in the past with not just speed, but his wits and training. It could still end with Reverse Flash and Barry having their (umpteenth) final battle! I get that the dynamic is Team Flash and friends and family, but it would’ve been cool to have him fight for everything on the line by himself.

3:30 I LOVE how there's a 'sizzling' sound effect, like he just got fried, but he literally looks the exact same

This would've been so much better if the team Flash side was Barry, Jay, Wally, Bart, and Nora. That way it would've been a full on speedster vs speedster fight

The plot armor was insane, especially with Nora and Cecil. Nora had the biggest plot armor ever, more than calebcity’s “when the writers only focus on progressing the plot”

Godspeed vs Cecile truly is the fight of all time. It's the first fight where I don't know who I wanted to lose more. Honestly I was dreaming they would just end up blowing each other up lol

It would've been cool if the villains were winning at first but than Savitar decided to betray them because of Nora since she convinced him that despite everything he was still her dad a hero

savitar really died after getting stabbed in the back but in season 3 he got stabbed in the neck tissue and still lived this is trippy

The recycled running 🥵, No Cisco 😢, the villains being clowns and plot armor 😂, and the ending was heartwarming. I rate this ending 3/10, and I thank Grant for 9 years, he is the Best Flash but damn that s*** was dissatisfying for a finale, 9 years just for that.

My two complaints for this scene is: 1. Zoom isn't sparking his speed force like he's supposed to. 2. Most Anticlimactic fight in the history of Flash history, I mean what happened to Zoom's time remnants, or Godspeed's sonic attack, or Savitar exiting his suit to fight Nora with the face and voice if her father. So much potential for the series finale gone to waste

I get that they all have a connection to the negative speed force thanks to Eddie but why make their lightning permanently red? Why not just make it a mixture of their normal lightning and red lightning like Nora when she tapped into the NSF?

The writters had some good ideas for the episodes and I'm glad the villains were back, but it doesn't make sense how they were defeated lol these are extremely powerful villains, they should've won.

The finale as a whole might have been totally disappointing but Wells realising that it was all being held together by someone at Star labs and going there was totally on point.

This feels like an episode of Power Rangers.

SPOILERS AHEAD: It's incredible how in the end the whole team got superspeed and super strength in the last episode that allowed Cecile to fly and also defeat dozens of Godspeed clones when just last season they had an all out Speed Force war. I also love how Kiyone basically told us that 'no one is going to die tonight, like she was breaking the 4th wall', and how Chuck had superpowers that he didn't know about. It was incredible how powerful Nora was and was able to phase her belly button and spine so that Savitar would fail to stab her. Then she casually just stabbed him once - remember when Jesse did it he ran off - but this time he just laid down and basically went into a coma. Then Zoom decided he would rather just threaten to kill everyone and then run around and around in the tunnel rather than you know...kill everyone. I'd like to think that the last time I saw Thawne this season was in episode 10, so I totally blocked that part out because it brings into question why Eddie needs to be the avatar at all. Then after absorbing massive amounts of negative speed force energy, I really loved how pep talks and the power of friendship lead to an awkward friendship between the positive and negative speed force. It would have been incredibly satisfying if the bad guys won. I loved Seasons 1-2 and even 3. Then there were some good moments, but imagine ending such an epic legacy with a 13 episode season that only had 1 episode that didn't absolutely suck.
