I have an idea. What about making the bots blind in like a normal low skill player by making any players who have high kill streaks don't able to play for few hours and if someone manages to get in it will get a permanent ban

Most speedrunning/fighting game communities wished to be a tenth of the size of TF2's playerbase. But apparently 10k-25k people is a dead game. The same people who claim TF2 is dead insist on that they don't want it to be, but also insist on replying to your replies denying all chances of your efforts doing anything... I do not for one second believe that these kinds of people are players, at least anymore. And surely they act in bad faith.

The question is can they fix it, the source code was leaked meaning the bot players can always make a bot no matter what because they have access to the sorce code.

So what if TF2 is an old game? It is also one of a kind and does not need substitutes. There won't be another one, so we can't let it go. Too many wonderful moments that TF2 has given us, not only for us as a community of this game, but for the whole gaming community. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know how good it was and still is a part of the gaming world. #fixtf2

I love peoples passion for the game as someone who has played for a very very very very long time from the Orange Box days, but it is at a point it needs Valve intervention to reach its old status and Valve is more preoccupied with their crappy hardware advancements and new generational hero shooter MOBA to care. This is like the 4th or 5th campaign to save Tf2 and Valve has ignored every cry for help every time. We havn't gotten the heavy update promised 7 years ago, all the recent updates have been made by the community with Valve putting 0 to little effort to them at all, the bot crisis effectively turns anyone off from the game. Your best bet is to review bomb Tf2, you want Valve to listen play into the things they care about, a petition and videos of people crying for help won't do anything it hasn't for years. Get Tf2 to Mixed or even better Negative reviews on steam and Valve will *maybe* care more about fixing their image.

It certainly isn't dead but when you click the big green "find game" button and get dropped into a match with 6 cheating bots on it and no real players it doesnt feel all that alive either. tf2 is on life support, or like in a coma or something like that. Its not doing too good.
