There was a recent Reddit post that went into a deep dive on how the difference between hundo mega rayquaza and the floor is next to minimal. I would love to see you make a video on this topic in general to help better explain to people that life isn’t over if you don’t get the hundo by showcasing the true values ivs contribute and how they affect Pokémon differently.
I have hatched 4144 eggs, the only time I have grinded for shinies are Munchlax and the Amaura shiny last time it was in eggs. It took me an absolute eternity to get the Amaura so can confirm that «boosted shiny odds» in egg hatching is extremely misleading.
For anyone who are getting close to level 44, farm as many mysterious components as you can to get multiple rocket radars. You need to defeat rocket leader 50 times to level up. Find 3 stops that give a mystery component and and complete it. Do it again for another 3 to get a rocket radar. Once it is assembled, unequip it and repeat. You can finish the event easily with 25 rocket radars for free.
RIP all my stardust, but stoked to FINALLY max out the army of shadow mons I've grinded for over the last few months! And on the topic of those "boosted" eggs, I've hatched around 30 so far no shiny. I know that's not "a lot" but I figured I'd snipe one by now.. I'll come back to this comment and edit it if I get one before the event ends..
yes conkelddur doesnt require elite move, but its soo rare its gonna be comparably hard to get, typically you could trade him to save a lot of candies but you cant trade shadows, which means you need to come up with iirc 250 candies to evolve, then another 150+ to get to lvl 30, or 230+ for lvl 35. so to fill a team with 5 of these is going to be insanely hard, considering your lucky if you find a timburr in the wild every other day, at that pace getting 1 lvl 35 conkeldurr would take almost 3 months, your probably gonna get more timburr from rocket balloons than wild spawns. compared to shadow machamp which is still very viable and far more common & less candy requiring, and even terrakion Sacred sword comes back to raids its gonna be a whole lot easier to get 5 weather boosted with sacred sword and its gonna be on par and eventually better with far less effort
Great point on Rampardos - I feel like it’s easy to sleep on 1* shadow raids because a lot of them usually stink, but the meta relevant ones are some of the best bang for your buck in the game. I got a 14/13/14 Machop in a weather boosted raid built a level 30 Machamp for 44k dust and 163 candy. The same Machamp from a Machop from Cliff would cost me around 124k dust and 253 candy. Amazing resource arbitrage for people using their free daily pass, plus it is soloable for people on their own. Hard to beat in my opinion.
I used the Necrozma incense trick to get more Amaura/Tyrunts not for the shinies, but for the showcases, which give you some sweet drops like starpieces.
I have 15/12/15, 15/13/13, and 13/15/15 (xxs). Should I purify the second or third for the hundo. Should I use my xls for the purified hundo or a shadow?
question guys, I have unfinished 2 super rocket radar reserches from the past (I have recently returned to playing, those researches are really old, prob. more than 2y), I didnt get new research for super rocket radar today. When I simply activate one of those 2 stacked super rocket radars and finish both researches from the past, will I get a new one once they are both finished? needed to say both of those two unfinished researches are at 5/6 stages and saying: find, battle and defeat Team Go Rocket Boss. So one super rocket radar could finish both of them.
i know you explained to wait at level one of the research for giovanni to save it, but if i was to complete it and hold the super radar in my bag until giovannis pokemon changes will that radar in my bag let me fight his new one or will it make me battle the cresselia that i unlocked it with. i only ask because i dont like having research sitting around when i know it can be completed.
Once you get to Page 4 of the Special Research, the task will be to defeat Giovanni, so it forces you to complete it and use up your Super Rocket Radar. This is why staying on Page 1 is the best strategy if you want to stack.
Cranidow is aready made out of paper normally... Shadow cranidos then is made out if wet toilet paper, completely useles for me IMO, because even a supper effective fast attack will hit like a brick.
Luckybunz can you please review this? When shadow Cresselia comes into raid rotation (in the distant future), will it ever be low enough to be great league PVP IVs, or is this the only shot we have at a great league shadow Cresselia? I know for the other shadow legendaries, usually their raid IVs are much higher. So even if Cresselia sucks now, it might be better in niche cases in the future and forever locked behind this event. So if you do want the most Great League pvp coverage in the future, it is best to get 1 shadow Cresselia.
If you did want Shadow Cresselia for Great League, it would be much better to grab it now. In theory it's still possible if you got the lowest IV spread from shadow legendary raids at Level 20. It would be 1494 CP with 6/6/6 IVs.
What do you mean when you say we can still get blast burn for shadow cyndaquil/typhlosion because it had a classic com day in june? Is the bonus still active right now? Or are we going to have another chance again in the future?
For stacking the Super Rocket Radars, if I claim one of the missions but stay on page 1 will I still be able to do the new method stack? Haven't done it before, so just wanna check if I can or just finish it out.
So, as long as you stay on Page 1 of the Research you can stack it? I accidentally claimed a few of the rewards on Page 1 this morning because Iife was hectic and I didn’t know that was the task for the Super-Radar, and I’m gonna be super bummed if I can’t stack it up for next time.
Off topic question but do you think it is worth spending around 1200 Lucario mega energy to get it to mega level 3 before Beldum Com Day? I don't have any steel types mega level 3 and I have over 5000 mega energy for Lucario
Yes, you only need 900 mega energy to get it to Mega Level 3 if you did it everyday. You wouldn't be able to get it to Mega 3 before Beldum CD, but it would still be worth doing for future events.
Been hatching one 7km at a time with my free incubator - out of like 5 or so I got one shiny Archen. Egg experiences before were lackluster so I decided not to buy incubators this time.
Newbie here. I have a question regarding the special research, what if I've already done the first 2? Can I still stack it as long as I don't progress past the first page?
@@basedblueboy8770no my question was to stack the super rocket radars, you can’t progress on the Giovanni quest. One of the things in the quest is catching shadow Pokémon, so how would I catch shadow timburr if it progresses my quest?
Somebody pls help me. Ive stacked 2 super Rocket radars by completing 2 researches. They each gave 1 radar. I had used one to fight and get shadow groudon. But after getting groudon the radar didn't vanish and its still equipped. Even if i unequip and equip i still have 2 radars....but when i try to fight giovanni for 2nd time...i get only potions and not the shadow boss....pls help me...i cant even discard those super radars
They are NOT shiny boosted. I have hatched 50+ 7k eggs and 30+ research and have only hatched ONE shiny and only ONE shiny as research award (both of which I already had...grrr). Freaking TERRIBLE event in this perspective.
Boy I did 80 shadow trapinch with zero shinies. Did 1 arlo got shiny machop. Tell me they don't turn off certain shinies for certain players and rotate them.
I feel this lol, my shadow shiny luck is terrible for the ones I want. I focused on Machop specifically this past rotation and did not get it. Same story for Beldum and Bagon in previous rotations 🙃
