Storywise the girls are still on the sidelines so I don't see it as that much of an improvement like people claim it to be. We're definitely never going to see one of the females defeat a male character in a 1v1 that's still a line the shonen writers at least when it comes to the Naruto universe refuse to cross. Sarada had a moment like that and the writers refused to just let that be the final blow even if it did cause significant damage.

@@BriSand1993 You obviously havent watched the anime fully, Sarada has many many solo fights, times when she saves Boruto, times she and the rest of team 7 use combo attacks, times her Genjutsu saves everyone. She has had more fights in 270 episodes of Boruto than every female character in OG and Shippuden which was over 700 episodes. She is not sidelined more than Mitsuki or any other male character is and obvioudly she is secondary to Boruto seeing as he is the MC, its the exact same even with Naruto and Sasuke who didnt finish any big villian either. Side characters remain side characters but the girls arent treated any worse than the guys are like they where in OG and Shippuden

@@stevenviljoen160 Oh no she hasn't you're making it seem like she's had 270 fights and we know that's not true. You clearly didn't understand what I meant just because Sarada participates in the fights with her team doesn't mean that she herself plays an important role in this main story, she's only just now starting to appear in the manga again when it forgot she even existed for about half a year. I'll say it like I've said it before they gave Sarada that consideration because she's the daughter of a legacy character and nothing more because Kishi can't shake the fetish he's got for the Uchiha. None of the other females even come close to being important in the grand scheme of things, Sumire was the closest they had to being a badass with no expectations because she was an original character but then they sqaundered it to having her revert back to that mousey persona she was faking to make people believe she was harmless when we saw how ruthless she can be with her fight with Mitsuki and then they shelved her until the Kawaki arc which they better have her do something as Amado's assisstant sussing him out otherwise I'll be very disappointed.

@@BriSand1993 Your problem is you only care about the manga when even the writers said its not the only canon or important part. You probably havent even watched all the non manga arcs have you? Because one of the most recuring side teams that get focused on in the anime is team 10 and every time they help and team up with team 7 ChoCho gets the most lines and moments. She gets multiple arcs and episodes focused on her, Sumire has multiple single episodes that focus on her with her team and a arc that she is the MVP of in the Jugo arc. Sarada has a entire arc around her, she continues to be important in every single arc in the show even if she did take a backseat for the Kawaki arc which is aparently the only arc you care about. And again Boruto is the MC of course the story revolves around him and he gets a lot more than every other character. The plot revolves around him so what do you expect? For all the side characters to be the main driving force?

@@stevenviljoen160 You'd be surprised because I don't just care about the manga I like the anime a lot more because the characters develop but let's face it the story's about Kawaki and Boruto and we know where that future ends up and Sarada nor any other female isn't apart of it. Your whole thing is you think Boruto is better as a series because you think it treats the females better just because they give them little moments here and there but they aren't any more relevenat than the females in OG or Shippuden because none of them take the lead and I know what you're going to say already Sarada's a chunin and captain of her team but she's only a chunin because Boruto and Mitsuki weren't there and she fought Cho Cho. For someone who's goal is to become the Hokage I don't feel her determination at all why can't the anime give her an arc where she has to act like a leader and no I don't count that Funato clan arc where Kagura was in charge practically the whole time and the position was practically voted on to give to her after he died, she didn't even say I'll take the lead until she felt everyone was comfortable with her being in charge.

I don't think she understands what character development is in that not only can she fathom that Sasuke's changed but she also can't understand that Naruto's developing as a father in that he needs to learn that time with his family is just as important as what he does for the village but he's never had a father in his life so he doesn't realize his absence is causing them pain because Naruto considers the whole village his family but the purpose of this arc is for Naruto to learn he has to cherish his own family with the same energy he does for the village and she's mad that Naruto as an adult isn't the exact same as kid or teen Naruto like it surprises her he's a grown up with responsibility and she expected him to be this perfect dad right off the bat.

He did say he wasnt sure if he could, no doubt he is more powerfull but he can not sustain the form for long and Shinkis deffence is insane and he might outlast him.

@@laggedout601 You underestimate the iron sand, Mistukis snake sage mode could not really damage Deepa while Shinkis sand was able to block attacks from Urashiki when even Gaara couldnt. Snake sage os powerfull but it doesnt really give all that much penetrating power as seen vs Deepa while Shinkis defense is insane. If Mutsuki was not limited to a very short time limit then I can see him take it but as seen the Sage mode can not be used for any significant time begore it damages Mitsuki

@@stevenviljoen160 iron sand is a more solid defense than regular sand and it’s explicitly said that lightning release is shinkis weakness. If Mitsuki combines his lightning release with senjutsu it’ll literally one shot him

@@laggedout601 You are really underestimating Shinki, he can make clones, fly and has much training, and can use sealing Jutsus and puppets. He could wait Mutsuki out since Mitsukis snake sage mode does not last very long and just like the 8th gates it does insane damage to Mitsuki. It liquefied his organs last time he tried using it and Mitsuki himselg says he isnt sure he could beat him using it. Mitsuki is without a doubt more powerfull but just like 8th gate guy and Baryon Naruto that does not mean you instantly win as both had similar techniques and where incapable of defeating oponents they where stronger than.
