@@Hiltok For a penalty to be awarded, it would need to be decided that a) Ox lifted him and it was not just him getting caught in the pressure and b) Ox did that intentionally.

Previously the response would have been 'but the AB's need Sam Cane's tackling.' Given how Faessler scored his try by running past Cane off the back of the 5m LO-maul, and that was really a key moment that got Australia back into the contest before half-time, it's getting about time to say goodbye to Sam Cane. If he's fit, I'd stick Blackadder in there. At some stage, the AB's do need some more height in that back row. Sititi is at 6 for now because Finau's not good enough yet. When/if Finau gets good enough, Sititi should be the 8. Will Savea be the best option at 7 by then? Or do you start Papalii and have Savea on the bench for high impact in the last 20/25 minutes? Yeah, and Jordie is 1.96 metres and 102 kg. Professional Rugby is quickly forgetting the advantages a shorter stature provides, in an effort to field bigger players. Centre of gravity being a major one.

Damian willemse is not that big either but runs over guys 20 to 30 kg heavier than him

Instead of focusing on the one guy who missed the final kick, have you considered how we conceded as many tries in 21 minutes as we had conceded in the previous 4 games? Pollard missed two tackles that lead to the first two of those, but let's all point at Manie for not fixing the problem that we created when he was not even on the field. I get it. His kicking is poor. But he is not the reason we lost that game.

He should def get the 10 jersey for the boks. It was the rest of the teams fault. That kick for touch that he missed and the penalty for posts isnt a big deal. The team should have gotten more penaltys for him to get one over.

I'm sure he can answer himself but I'm pretty sure it's that "Give my two cents" is a saying for giving your opinion, so two cents rugby means giving his opinion on rugby.

But in having once again been given the opportunity by Rassie to be selected as the replacement # 10 ( Which certainly takes on the responsibility of being the * Designated Kicker; * ) to have badly missed that comparatively easy; but critical; end-game winning penalty; unfortunately displays a current lack Confidence / Big Match Temperament as required to perform a primary function of that important position .... 🤙🏉🇿🇦

@@johnnyeveritt5695 It really doesn't. Imagine the pressure bearing down on him in that moment, chances are he wouldn't have missed it if the coaches had done more for him. Blame is a two way street. Also, so many kickers miss in high stress situations, it's pretty common. Mounga himself is an excellent 10, yet he missed a number of kicks back in the 23 RWC final.
