@@pssound9749 well, I got an excellent deal from a friend on the 3 ways components & all other speakers and subs.I actually have audio control amps, and I’m probably going to use those. I also have a Mosconi DSP from an earlier build I really like, (& love their software). Head unit is Alpine ilx 509 because it fits mustangs nicely. So actually not all Audison.
Looking at this compared to what the Australian SQ comps look like is just a tad amusing haha So many cars at aussie comps are just speakers thrown into stock locations running off a single Helix P6 (or similar), and the event is just a bunch of cars parked in a shopping centre car park on a Sunday. Really awestruck by the attention to detail that has gone in to each of these builds. Ive been out of the game for a few years now and seeing this really makes (even more then normal) want to get a build going again. The blue BMW with the Sinfoni and Scanspeak gear in particular looks mighty appealing!
@@pssound9749 I think i had seen some of the progress a while back, but not the whole thing finished in its entirety. it is a work of art man, well all your work is! My friend Mario, (you may know him from facebook) told us about your seat shakers, that is insane and has to just be awesome. Kudos to you sir. ill be starting the trunk build on mine. got alot of good pointers from your vids :)
Really like your videos! I think it would be a good idea to name the drivers like the midranges tweeters ams dsps and... Or at least their brand names in video captions. Good luck bro
@@pssound9749 Also if you have any passengers who are complete weirdos and don’t like feeling the bass (probably should’ve checked this before getting serious with my gf cause it would’ve been a dealbreaker)…. I guess you can only put one on the drivers seat.
I always see these installs with super expensive speakers out in the open, I guess they don't daily drive them, I would never feel comfortable parking in public with these installs. There has got to be a safer way to install the speakers and if it's just for show then what's going on, do these cars sound better then the old school car audio cars? I would like to hear these new cars versus Richard Clark's Grand National or any other car from that era that was a winner and hear if there's an improvement.
Quite many of these cars are driven daily. What you have to understand that this video is from the European Finals, so all the national Champions compete against each other. In most classes there is no limitation on installation, so yes, you can see unusual speaker installations for the sake of getting the best sound out of their systems. They probably don’t live at a dodgy area plus most systems are built so well, that you can not just simply walk up with a screw driver and steal the speakers. For your liking there is an OEM class, where speakers have to be in factory locations behind grills, but not many people get too excited about those classes and systems. Recently i’ve had 4 people visiting me from the most reputable shop in UK, where the last time they were active was 2002-2005ish. They were also interested in what really changed in 15-20years, because they thought they heard many great systems back in the day. Well, they all left marks in their pants, because they were stunned by the difference they heard in my cars. Fully active game with DSPs, great speaker placements and installation with the correct tuning can do magic, that you can not compare to what was great 20 years ago. 👍
wow so many awesome installs you guys are in a league all by yourself but your are running out of places to put amplifiers l would love to see you put the amplifiers on the roof to be seen from inside :-) :-)
