Gut the thing and start from scratch. Then it's truly yours exactly the way you want it.

The mold says, "Take it all down and start fresh." It will make it easier to redo the plumbing and electrical work that you need to do.

Think about elevating the bed on a platform in the back and using the space underneath as an office, TV lounge, storage, etc. So much wasted space by having the bed on floor level.

Best suggestion I saw was cut the whole dang camper part off the frame and order a custom travel trailer camper to fit the truck frame then later attach the new camper to it, in the meantime while the camper is being built you could move the fuel tanks and do all the maintenance and upgrades to the tractor you want or need to do. Maybe even extend the frame a few feet for a little more camper ; )

Hey man you should send it out to caravan place a get it refurbished in side including pop out kitchen and. Lounge a A C installed it would still be old skool on the outside and new on the inside

Take that toterhome to 1492 coachworks and have them completely redo the whole unit, with slide outs.

Just strip it down and redo it. Youll like it better in the end. Also, just drive the 15 speed like a 10 speed. The bottom 5 gears are just a low low for starting with a load in tough conditions.

I would save the overhead cabinets. They would save you time on making something new and they already look well built. Once you repaint them they would look better

That 15 spd is ..in my opinion..the best trans ever…Heres the deal…drive it like a 10 spd..leave the blue button alone. If you are heavy and need more low…..you..button 12345….usually Id start in 3rd .then 45 The trick is that whatever gear you come out of you go back into the low side of the 10 spd. eg.. come out of 4 goes int 2. Those 15s are very versatile. Hope that helps

Problems? All you had to do is stand the couch on end and pulling the bottom from underneath to go out. Maybe remove the handrail

It never cease to amaze me that he doesn't think before he acts and destroys perfectly good furniture. He could've stood it up on end and carried it out the door and donated it to the salvation army or another organization. He spends more money etc than he makes. He's not frugal at all. He has no concept of the value of a dollar. Eliminating all the storage, ruined the refrigerator, and the calamity matches on. He's making more work for himself than it needs to be (SMH) he didnt even ask Amber how and what she wanted removed. He just threw that perfectly good refrigerator out the backdoor 2 seconds AFTER the said they are $100 now. DUHHHH!!! I BET he doesn't have it ready for his trip. This is a gem, fully gut it and start over and then revamp it to your taste and it will be awesome again and have character!!

Since you're going to be working on the RV you should look into buying a truck lift jack set, that way you can walk under your RV instead of crawling under it, plus you can use them on the semi trucks as well...

For horns, I’d put in some train horns. A set of K5LA horns would be awesome.

Rip the hole back half off and weld a travel trailer right on the back with an awp for power

Might be a bright idea to go down to a RV parts supply to see what’s available, so you can build around available products and options, instead of building to find out nothing fits, everything is custom order, or you have to tear it all back apart to fit what’s available, or to build in something you see there…buy everything with wash ability in mind..

He thought the Thor RV was a crappy this thing is even more of a rolling turd. This thing will never get finished. Bruce will sell it soon, like he does with everything on this channel. I used to enjoy actually watching him build stuff from start to finish.

Glass watermelon lights with LED bulbs down the sides, the pattern they make will look awesome on the large flat white sides of the RV.

It was definitely out in the open for a very long time. If you go back to the previous video it’s under a canopy but you can see that the things around it were thrown to the side to make space

Water is always going to condense in the headliner of the RV, use electric heaters not gas that will help alot. And use automotive wool for liners. Because its a RV the basics walls with Aluminum studwalls and proper insulation its gonna cost abou 6K just to do the walls and ceiling right or you can do it with wood and it will just get moldy agin.

I would keep the overhead cabinets maybe change the doors on them

So I found the best way to refreshing. The walls was had wallpaper on my RV. I used to gripping primer mixed in sand play box grade. Brushed it on and then paint it over the top of it. And the reason for the sand gives it a texture luck. But I did remove the wallpaper, which got it down to Bearwood.

Yeah it was smoking like it needs a oil change, but as long as it's fixable once you do an overhaul it looks like you got a good deal.

You DEFINITELY want to get rid of any CPVC plumbing pipe in there. I'm getting ready to change all my plumbing in my 23 yr. old RV and I'm going with the PEX piping.

Strip it to bones and make sure there’s no leaks or critters. Then you can update to newer and more reliable technology, and it’ll sure as heck look better.

Could really do with getting your hands on a crashed modern RV/Caravan for a donor!!! External has a great classic look, but for a young family the internal screams a modern re-fit which you might get out of a wrecked modern RV/Caravan. Could save a ton of time and green in a re-fit!

Converting that wet bath to a dry bath will be a major undertaking & probably will never be finished & a great number of campers have the water tank under the bed

Odin is a really good platform to start on, I hope you didn’t break the bank on it like it was some turnkey rig. I think taking it back down to a shell, making everything is structurally sound, then re-sealing it all is the best plan of action. And build from scratch after obviously. He here to watch either way 🤙

Bruce, I would gut it and fill it with about 3 inches of spray in insulation foam. This will seal everything from a possible CO2 from the generator gases. And be much better in the summer and winter weather. I would use hard wood flooring throughout the entire inside.. Then, put new windows double insulated windows.Make a big difference from the start. I would measure the whole inside and drawl how you wanted it to all lay out like refrigerator, stove .Need to find out what's available and what you want size Flat screens wire it for sound. You need it wired before spraying foam inside.I think I would completely do away with that back door .

On the driver side that box under the door is where your batteries should be for the truck those are original boxes, passenger side, toolbox, driver side battery box

Bruce that 15 speed, once you get use to it you won't want nothing else that 425 sounds so frik'n sweet man o'h my Lord!!!!!!!!! you know i did hear that CAT and international are working together a bit, but i was told that the new International motor that is out in there trucks, you no the CAT truck's that motor is a 425 with gray paint and it passed admissions just fine !!!! now aint that something !!!!! i would ask you if you have heard that but u will not see this i'm thinking !!!!! just say'n !!!!

I would have suspected that from all the water damage and water stains when you bought it. First thing that popped in my head was MOLD!!!! Maybe the wife was the smarter one on this idea lol!!!!!!!!

Hey Bruce, beautiful unit you asked for our opinion I would replace everything and make the wife happy. If you don’t have to look at it every day why did I’m not replace the panel it’s so out of date if I owned it, I would strip everything down and replace everything that’s my opinion whatever the wife says, gotta keep her happy

Hi Bruce is that 15 spd still standard h pattern or had 4th and 5th gear reversed , don't use reduction range , no need just drive in mid and high range as 10spd , my 82 k100 had 3406a with 15spd direct and pattern was reverse 4th n 5th , ,,makes 5th top right instead of bottom right, and I freaking loved the gearbox ,, ps clutch is for starting only , shift 10 times better with out clutch, a real drivers gearbox but piece of piss to use esp reverse set up ,, loves being raced thru the gears and makes the 3406a garsp for air between changing gears, sound fantastic too, the mould Bruce remove affected materials wood or carpets, tip measuring piece before you tear them to bits , so as you take it off sit new bits near to but not fitted wash an dry everything that remains , only assemble after woods primed every last edge , only use plumbers mould resistant salastic adhesives, put extra ventilation in affected areas point all breathing vent down outside with at least 3 inch below to prevent travel speed wind push rain back inside , hope something here makes sense to you Bruce,, and when ever or all the time keep the RV open windows or screen door ,, the more fresh air the less damp air ,,, air drys better than heat on its own

Should get stainless fenders for the front. Would look good with the rest of the chrome on the truck

Hey Bruce you need to put a pit in the shop where you could pull the camper etc and make it easy to work on instead of crawling around under them all just a thought then if and when you leave the shop just fill it back full of dirt and concrete I had one back in the day just saying? ?

Tell me your not surprised... The video you did introducing this thing showed all kinds of signs of water leaks and water leaks almost always equals mold.
