Teardown of Latest Samsung 65W PD Charger (EP-TA865) 

Did not expect this 65w charger to support samsung super fast charging 2.0 considering the label on the adapter itself. on 45w charger it says 3.3 to 11 or 16 or 21 v at some amp number, but not this charger.

I've never seen the cap switching IC before. That is a great idea though!

Samsung chargers can always be identified by their unique control circuit, high quality polymers on the output and multiple CapXon on the primary.

The US plug is crap, easy to touch the prongs and get shocked and never fits snugly and charges always loses connection.

They use a chip to connect, the Caps in parallel and series not use to switch caps, it’s wasted space when the cap is not being used.

The PI chips are nice, absolutely no VDroop and a lot of headroom for modding to increase power capabilities.

How did you remove the bond?

Would this work with the new S22 Ultra instead of the new 45W charger?
