Yeah, what i usually do. Once I get it to free up, like on a honda 4 stroke I freed up awhile ago. I drained as much wd-40 as possible then put in some cheap oil. In that case it took 10/40. I then manually turned the motor over for awhile by spinning the rear tire so the oil gets throughout the entire motor, drain and then refill with some quality oil.
