Poor thing has been sitting in the trailer all broken since its last event - but now its time to figure out what happened and bring it back to life! LZMFG.com
No, he needs to keep it a seat time car that doesn’t need an entire team to keep running IMO. I wish he would just drive stock SR cars again, hoping he goes back to his clone 180 in Australia or his jzx at ebisu
I agree with this. I would sell the chaser and invest more into the e36 to make it a year round practice car or even get another S15 for that can take hand me downs from the current S15.
Crazy how i loved Adam getting ready for drift events in his garage and driveway on his own or with a friend. Seeing him struggle without crazy gear, lifts,... Weirdly super fun to watch. Now he's doing FD with his crew. CRAZY! Congrats on the succes my guy
I'm quite curious if they're dating or not, I've noticed shes been in A LOT of his videos that I've been catching up on. But not my business, just curiosity.
@@fordbloke4790 I'm slowly watching videos here and there. Mainly ones of just the barra swap, this video is one I've watched recently that is not about the barra
being a youtube OG, seeing the starts and progressions of big youtubers like: adam, pewdiepie, tanner fox and scotty cranmer. im the most happy with who you are and what your doing for us viewers, big love
Dude it's awesome how chill Adam has become especially in the last couple of years. He's really getting confident in himself and figuring out who he is and what he enjoys. It's been awesome watching your journey these last 6 years or w.e! I started watching Adam after his first not...2nd how to bunny hop box video! You've taught me so much dad appreciate ya adam!!
Ordered one of his barra hoodies today. After watching for 4 years I finally was able to send some money his way and support a channel that I’ve watched grow. Much love Adam.
Adam moved this mans in and video quality got amazing! Adam knows how to make content and this dude knows how to capture it so well. I get so hyped for every vid you drop. Notification squad
Pro tip: you can open the valve on the engine hoist and raise the ram by hand, then close the valve. You might have to count to 3 to let the oil fill in under the piston. Way faster than pumping it or using an air over hydraulic ram.
I mean, the 3.4 Stroker in the e36 to practice and then, the 1.5JZ in the Clean Chaser is the best option. Just imagine how beautiful the Chaser would sound with the 1.5JZ and how awesome of a practice car the E36 would be. NUTS!
Definitely put the 3.4 in the chaser that car is BADASS keep up the great work love the Chanel been following since before you moved to Florida and you’ve grown so much
Honestly, 3.4 in the e36, 1.5j in the Chaser and spare for FD. The 3.4 in the E36 just makes more sense, no way you're going to do anything crazy in white chaser and the 1.5j is already super rad. It will be the perfect combo for that car.
You should start a Patreon or a second channel where you strictly have footage of you guys fixing the cars in depth too could teach a lot of people about cars. Just a thought
@@triix5 Then what would he put on this channel? they should only be allowed one channel, or would then be one for drifting, another for engine building, another for bmx stunts, ect ect ect??
markcozzie did you not read my comment dude😂 I literally said what he would put on a second channel just in depth footage of them working on the cars because some people want to see that like me
I blew up my 99 civic si at the same track about 2 weeks after the Chasser blew! The guy that had to clean up your mess has selfies while cleaning the track with you filming your video in the background 🤣
Although cool I think the white chaser doesn’t need a stroker setup. Put it in the e36 since it is your clutch kickers car, I think that’s the best option. A mildly modified 500whp and mint chaser is amazing as is!
stroker would be rad in the white chaser, but its all up to you, if you want to make the e36 a good practice car, its probably smartest to have the same setup as your pro car, but consider both options pros and cons
Mannneee, I love where this channel has gone. Before Adam was all family friendly and everything was super right feeling. Now it’s all chill and everything feels more real💪🏼love where this channel is going although I miss the guitar outros 😅
I believe in one of the videos.... I think it was the one with the white chaser. The old owner had one and he really liked it. I could be wrong but I think that happened. When he brought the white chaser to see the old owner and give him a ride in it.
3.4 the chaser and v8 the e36 like you were talking about before. You need atleast 1 v8 in the line up to mix it up a lil. Then you could have the 1.5 as a back up for the brown middle ready.
Anyone else love Adams white chaser🥰♥️😍 Also you should put the 3.4 in the chaser and clean up the engine bay/tuck everything away I think it would look 🔥🔥
Although cool I think the white chaser doesn’t need a striker. Put it in the e36 since it is your clutch kickers car, I think that’s the best option. A mildly modified 500whp and mint chaser is amazing as is!
It might be worthwhile to look into an Accusump system for your cars that are wet sump! I couldn’t make out if oil starvation was the factor that ultimately lead to the motor letting go, but seems like a good option for insurance!
3.4 stroker would be cool in the white chaser. But what would be smart would be the 3.4 stroker on the e36 to be your seat time off of FD since it would be more similar to the s15 for practice, and put the 1.5jz on the white chaser. To have a cool engine and look insanely beautiful.
Definitely put the 3.4 inside the e36 and make it basically a secondary comp car since it’s already stripped and paint matched and light as hell. Take the 1.5jz in that and put it in the white chaser boom you got all 3 cars running again!
the 3.4 jz would be sick in the chaser but I think the most logical thing to do is to put it in the e36 so it would be similar to the s15 and he can get more seat time for fd.
You can tell it was bottom end due to the piston being turned in the block, it's at about a 45 compared to the others, so maybe rod stud? Bottom of the rod let go and sent the piston up and stuck it into the head.
I'd say put the 3.4 stroker in the E36 and the 1.5JZ into the Chaser Keep the E36 in a similar set up to your FD car so you can have a seat time kinda thing for practice runs, and put the less racecar-like engine into your street build.
9:24 One thing to note is the 1GZ (stock internals, VVTI or not) is a non interference engine, so even if a valve was stuck fully open and the piston was in TDC there are no way that a shim cause this breakdown. I asume the piston hit those valve after the conrod broke as you mention.
@@ReubenHorner I mean 1JZ sorry, but i was also assuming that the VVTI was in fact interference but i seem like a urban legend. Search "1JZ-GTE VVTi Valve Interference Test" on YT.
3.4 stroker in the E36, leave the motor from the white chaser in the chaser missile, and 1.5j in the white chaser or build a fresh 2j for it. Since it is a nice clean car.. I don’t think you would mind going all out with it. Just my 2 cents lol if you go with a fresh 2j for the chaser. You could have a nice 1.5j engine for a future project.
I'd say the 3.4 should go in the car you'll be less bothered to take apart if you ever need a spare for the S15. My guess would be it's the S15 like a lot of people are suggesting.
Refresh the og s15 motor and stick it into the e36 since that’s kind of ur practice car. Having the same motor might help with practicing using that motor. And stick the 1.5j into the chaser.
