I thoroughly agree with you. It is so hard to find good and dedicated workers these days. I admire how precise they did the work and neatly organized the scraps on the trailer to store elsewhere. I wish I can find workers like that to help restore my home and garden. Hurricane Ida did a lot of damage. 2023 was the beginning of dedicated restoration. I could not bare stopping my dream. It paused.. Then the time moved on to carry on.. So I am working hard.. believing it will be better than before. I am so thankful for my two friends who believe in my dream. They surprise me by sending me plants/bulbs for the garden. What a blessing to have someone believe in your dream with you. Never give up! Take a rest/a time to heal if needed.. Do your best and let life surprise you.❤

I was amazed how well she worked along with her mom. The sweetest thing ever. What a beautiful bond. I sure mom was proud and remember also the times her own mom gave her seeds to plant. So much joy and fun along with lessons learned and memories forever to share with the next generation.. Like seeds sown🌱

The baby will remember these things forever, I can remember riding with my grandpa on his tractor planting fields and fields of produce, can remember harvesting, and even him selling to stores and I must have been right around Samantha’s current age.

First off, whenever I see Paul work, he always comes across as ten kinds of efficient. He knows the exact process to get something done and then does it so efficiently! Secondly, Samantha... what a sweetie! I love how she emulated everything her mama did. I love seeing how interested Samantha is in helping you! She reminds me of my granddaughter that’s about her age. My daughter also encourages helping to do simple yard work and gardening tasks. My granddaughter was home sick one day last week and she was helping in the backyard to clean up and get ready for spring planting.

Laura, I respect how you work with both of your children teaching them about growing fruits, vegetables, flowers, trees, pets, etc. You and Aaron are doing a fabulous job with Benjamin and Samantha. They will grow up with the same love of growing/farming that you have. And yes, as a former farmer, I can attest that you are teaching them to farm! Good job, both of you. P.S. I also respect that you both speak to them as you do to adults - that means they will learn to speak with clarity and precision, and be easily understood.

It’s so fun and satisfying to see the clean up in this space! Great job to Paul and Bethany! With how you at evolving the “sports area” are you considering any more infrastructure? It might be a cool idea for a small shed structure by the court. Nice way to contain all the sports equipment (basketballs, rackets, chalk, even spare helmets). But since you also have power out there you could add a fridge freezer potentially for sports drinks, popsicles and ice packs / first aid kits so it’s closer to the action. Can’t wait to see how your family uses this space throughout the summer!!

Oh my goodness Laura what a precious video with Samantha, I echo everyone else she is very precious and born to garden as she asked if she could help to garden with you, so sweet. I was amazed at how she just instinctively knew what to do as you guided her. Especially the part when you instruct how moist the soil should be she was showing us too. Oh and she was sure to tell you that you got her shoes wet...too cute!😂
