In this video, I’m taking you through the complete process of transitioning my raised garden beds from summer to fall-here in Gilbert, Arizona! 🌵 While much of the country is winding down their gardening season, our warm climate gives us a unique advantage, allowing us to extend the growing season and get a head start on fall planting. First, I tackled the overgrown grass and weeds surrounding my garden beds, clearing them out to give my plants some breathing room. Next, I refreshed the soil in the beds by adding a nutrient-rich mix of fresh soil, garden tone, earthworm castings, and mushroom compost-setting the perfect foundation for fall planting. Finally, I planted several varieties of seeds that will thrive in the coming cooler months. Join me as I prepare my garden for a bountiful fall season, taking full advantage of our sunny Arizona weather! 🍂
