Tuomas wrote some songs later on especialy for her!: when she read the notes+lyrics she mentioned: Where do I have time to breath?!- Tuomas: Youl make it Girl!
Going to the finishing moments of the song: it is very rare to see Floor captivated and overwhelmed by the audience reaction. To me her facial expressions tell "what the ***k just happened?" The elation and surprise after a gig working her heart out, singing a long setlist, there is something adorable in her smile and and movement. She has to have felt it all along, but now the barrier is down, the stage persona gets a rest . Perhaps "we made it" (after all, this is Wacken of all European venues), perhaps other emotions.
Thanks Jimmy! Nightwish has several US shows this year! I have Tix to their 15 May show in Denver! It is certainly a tragedy of epic proportions that Marko is taking some time to redress his mental health. He become burned out by the industry and hopefully a year is enough to find his center. Cause I sure would love to see him back. Not just as a bassist, or a vocalist, but as an entertainer! The fans being helped down from crowd surfing usually need a potty break and not being thrown out. It's a long way back, but you're also right up front for the finale! The production, engineering and performance at Wäcken Open Air Concert 2013 is absolutely STELLAR! There are few performances that rival this show. I saw Pink Floyd on The Division Bell Tour in 94 and the concert recorded at PULSE is the next best recording/engineering and it was 19 years prior. I've been to a LOT OF CONCERTS... until this performance by Nightwish the PULSE DVD was the best production/performance/engineering/recording I'd heard up to that point. It simply takes a massive team and a lot of luck to get the quality into the recording of a 'live' event. Wäcken was all that and a little magic to boot. Because Floor was still a guest member of the band at this show, I think this was the last 'interview', if you will. But at the 9:30 mark of Ghost Love Score, the 13th song of a 15 song setlist, you could see a little bit of her saying to herself..."NAILED IT!!" And the rest is, as they say, history!
I really enjoy Jimmy's world. Tuomas writes almost all of Nightwishes songs, almost. Bless The Child from this show was written by Marco. There is a very sweet moment in the performance where Floor sings to him. Few reactors do Bless the Child and I don't know why. It is my favorite. Carry on sir!
Greetings from California! Yes, they are coming to the US, and shows so far wo Marko are going well w Troy on harmony! Not the same power, but still great! All 15 songs from this Wacken show are worth a reaction!
They are scheduled to be in North America in May. Closest shows for you are in NYC and Toronto. A couple songs that come to mind that I see you haven't done yet are Storytime and Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean.
That’s how to finish off one the greatest rock shows of all time! There wasn’t a weak song in the 15-song set. They have a new bass player for the current tour. They are coming to the US in May for a limited tour, (8 cites in US, 2 in Canada). Marko is doing fine, having just celebrated his 56th birthday recently. There’s still a chance he could come back, but I think it would probably be on special occasions, not permanently. Just my opinion. Like other comments have said check out his work with Waltari last year. This is the show I’d time travel to for sure.
This one is a great song, and it never fails me when I need music to improve my mood. And you totally should watch Wacken from start to finish, you will not be disappointed.
I just love your enthusiasm Jimmy! I´m so happy it was captured on film so everybody can marvel in this magic. Leaves me speechless no matter how many times I see it. Great reaction!!
Hey, Sir! Good to see you! Actually, they ARE coming to the US! (At least currently... 🤞) I'm set to see them in Denver, in May. Check it out - you might have a chance! Rock on, Sir! 🤘😎👍
Hi Jimmy, i love to see your reaction videos of Nightwish. For me they are the best band in the world 😍 I also have another recommendation for you. If you like surprises, then try this masterpiece of our Dutch genius Arjen Anthony Lucassen with 11 awesome singers (I won't spoil who they are, but i think you will recognize some of them 😉): Ayreon - The Day That The World Breaks Down. Here is the link to the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oFuMKdrzPqU.html You will be blown away by all the talented musicians and singers! You won't be dissappointed....I PROMISE! Hope to see your reaction to this masterpiece soon and for now....Greetings, stay safe and lots of love from The Netherlands, Martin
Hi Jimmy, hope you're alright mate. You seemed a little bit in distress at the start of the video. Keep rocking with Nightwish and everything will be alright. :)
NIGHTWISH AND MEGADETH?? 🔥 MARCO SINGING HEAVY SOLO? 🤘🏻 My suggestion is another cover of them, which we HARDLY see on RU-vid.🇳🇱 And if you like a HEAVY Nightwish sound, this will be a very nice one! 🔥🤘🏻😎 Marco is singing solo on this one. Check out their cover of Megadeth, symphony of destruction. (Montreal 2004) AND A HEAVY SIREN FLOOR & MARCO? The second also hardly on RU-vid, is a heavy Siren, The Siren performed live of course by Floor Jansen, and also again a very good singing Marco🔥❤️🤘🏻 Enjoy it, and I with you!
