The live performance of Everybody Wants to Rule the World they did on Stephen Colbert about five months ago is amazing, sounds damn near identical to the studio recording. After all this time, they still got it. It also aptly aired on the same day that Russia invaded Ukraine, so there's that lol
Tears for Fears is amazing live! Their new album, 'The Tipping Point', released just this year, 17 years after their previous album, truly takes you on a journey of grief and redemption (Roland Orzabal's wife died in 2017). I suggest you check out the song 'Rivers of Mercy' live from their 2022 tour. If you type Tears For Fears - Rivers of Mercy - Dallas/Irving, TX 5/24/22 that is my personal favorite live recording of the song.
Saw them in Houston the next night. I can't describe how the building was shaking from not just the music but the crowd moving. We were in the balcony and it felt just like waves moving through the floor.
Tears for Fears are just amazing, love this song. The album - The Hurting is fantastic my favourite song is Pale Shelter but every song is great, Thank you.
This is from Night Of The Proms, an annual series of concerts with a philharmonic orchestra that invites various artists to play their hit songs. They've played with Simple Minds, Joe Cocker, Kim Wilde, James Brown, Toto, Roxette, Bryan Ferry, and a million others (there's a list on wikipedia). I've been to a couple of these concerts, and it's just great fun.
Love them. I have two lives for ya. From 1985, Head Over Heels,Live at Montreaux Switzerland and their newest song, The Tipping Point, live at Siriusxm. I think it's from 5 months ago. It's a good way to compare then to now and just how damn good they still are after almost 40 years. Luv your channel!! ❤️
Studio, Live - Tears for Fears have it covered, quite clearly. Essentially, just an incredible musical act. Thanks for the reaction/review, Bryson! Oh, and without question, the horns and the awesome alteration near the end of this performance - simply sublime. 😉🙏
you really should check out their recent release The Tipping Point because it shows they can be away for decades and still create fresh original music. It is really a great song
and for fun (not reaction) you should check out Mad World done by Curt and his daughter at their home during the pandemic. It has 9 million views. Awesome acoustic version.
i would also recommend the live version of Everybody Wants To Rule The World from 1985, performed at Massey Hall. it showcases the band in their vocal prime and sounds strangely warm and organic, it is just as great as the studio recording! also, there’s a mini concert they did for Spotify in 2017 i believe that is just phenomenal - doesn’t need to be a reaction, but is worth checking out!
First time seeing a live version of TFF. Thank you. Would love to see your reaction to Talk Talk. Their early material is a bit poppy but Such a Shame and Tomorrow Started are epic as is their Colour of Spring album. Mark Hollis a genius in progressive rock. A recluse. Sadly passed away a few years ago 😔
They still look great an sound fab!!! No need for all the flashy gimmicks & dancers...old skool live performers with live instruments LOVED IT...THANKYOU ❣❣😍
From the Tipping Point tour check out the title track live, also Sowing the Seeds of Love, also same tour. Love the visuals that go with it. Anything really you haven't seen you must.
You can see how good musicians are through their live performances. These guys are already old but still rock PS. If you can, please react to some songs by Simply Red! If you need some suggestions: For your Babies, Holding back the Years, Stars, Say You Love me ~
That Spotify Landmark Sessions video is what got me back into Tears for Fears--an amazing live recording of a deep cut that I hadn't heard (and is now my favorite song of theirs).
You seem to play a lot of 1980s besides current music what is your favourite times I think I was sort of lucky to be young then but that means I'm older now they were great times as far as music goes, great memories thankyou Bryson ♥️
Can you react to Duran Duran. It's been such a long time since you reacted to them live. I suggest the Diamond in the Mind concert video and if that's not available do Wild Boys/Relax on the same concert...
