*In today's episode of Tears of the Kingdom...* Planning may not be his strong suit, but today Quin's building a hand in it regardless. The day's objective is to get his brain to match his face: smart but wrinkly, with the screaming to boot. He finds out how to make himself scream (with intellect) when he learns how to identify whether a shrine has been activated or not; unfortunately for him, the third eye he's opened is very loud & good at alerting nearby constructs to his location, dismantling any options of stealth he may have had. Unfortunately for those constructs, Quin isn't just smart; he's strong! Not at the same time, but the only time that weakness matters is when he's on horseback with Gamer; his faulty sense of bravado turns into panic the second he's faced against a frost gleeok that's threatening to make his loyal steed the centerpiece of the war zone. _(It wouldn't be the first time he's died... But we don't talk about what happened April 24th, 2021.)_ Quin enters a few shrines that seem to be training him to become a master burglar at large. He becomes what he's learned when he discovers the Bird God & swipes his fabled Funny Hat right out from under his nose. Beak. Uh... *Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today?* _He's building his Lights of Blessing hoard again..._

That thing where Link charged up his fist while you were fighting the Gleeok was the Earthwake Technique. You know, the thing that you got from the Yiga Clan that gives you the ability to Earthbend.

12:53 I got stuck on this shrine (Orochium Shrine, "Courage To Fall") for about 40 minutes. It never even remotely occurred to me that falling into a trapped laser-triggered pit would be the _solution_ and not a fail state. I spent so long wandering around the same 4 stairs & 2 elevators that I started having flashbacks to when I had to look up a guide to Vah Ruta because I didn't see the stairs to the right of the map room.

Dude about that dark environment, I wish this for the DLC: Kass comes back and tells us the path to the true underground mazes

That glowing fist is the Earth Wake technique you learned from the Yiga Blademaster . You can only trigger it when you don' have weapon in your hands and by long pressing the Attack button . ☺️

I never get tired of watching Quinn trying to, and often unexpectedly succeeding in, doing the puzzle wrong--not in a way that makes it easier, necessarily, but as a wiley intent of defiance to the intended methods. Quinner, you're #1!

Rewinding the frost pillars is so completely sick and better than all the other Gleeoks final phases. The fire one is just painful, and the lightning one doesn't make the updrafts big enough.

Quin the skeletons are a side quest that loone gives u. She's the one who was obsessed with the guardians in botw. U find her in akkala between the tech lab and the stable below it. Then u go to eldin skeleton. Then hebra. Then the desert one. one at a time meeting her there and then putting them back together. Also yes there is a bublegem in every cave system. Once you get the bublegems a check mark will be on that caves logo on your map letting you know. And when you wear the divine beasts helms the sages avatar travelling with you will wear them. So tulin will wear the divine bear vah medohs helm and like that for the other sages corresponding helm

Hey, just chiming in to say that the great skeletons are part of a side quest. You can find the NPC to start the quest near East Akala stable if you follow the path to the Lab the Yiga took over that also houses part of the Yiga armor set. She should be looking at a sign near a bunch of Yiga statues. One of the better side quests imo.

I feel like quin would love Xenoblade Chronicles. Not for the gameplay but because the characters are adorable and silly

The reason you nosedived on the Wing in the shrine the first time is because you were standing on the tip, so the weight shifted. Remember that the steering on those is balance based (unless you put on a steering stick).

The plane didn't work the first time because you stood too far forward. The feet symbol in the middle is perfect balance (and also the best place to stick the control stick).

Fusing the giant ball to his weapon instead of using recall as it’s about to crush him is so quintessentially Quin.

I love how the vah medoh mask was part of a whole quest in rito village (given to you by tulin) but Quin just randomly found it.

Just so you know there is a baubble frog in every cave and if you look on the map the ones you got to frog in will have a tick/check mark on them and if you didn’t they won’t.

Hot tip Quin, after you’ve visited a cave it’ll show up on your map and if you’ve collected the Bubble Gem, there will be a lil check mark on the cave on the map. There are 147, good luck, haha.

A tip for finding shrines - the lightroots in the Depths are located directly underneath the shrines. (You can also use the shrines to find lightroots of you’re struggling in the Depths.)

Action-packed editing! I was also confused by the great skeleton puzzles - found the quest for them after investigating two of them. Somehow I missed that rito-mask cave, will have to pick that up on my next visit. I have to disagree regarding the beauty of Hebra: I can't stand the low-visibility of the near-constant snowstorms. I placed about 100 brightblooms in that great skeleton cave just to make sure I wasn't missing something.
