I forgot a tip and a "favourite tips" section. Oops. The tip is that when you're looking for new caves, set your sensor+ to the bubbulfrog. If you need help beyond that, try setting the sensor+ to the blupee. Unfortunately, not every cave has a blupee to guide you, but it could help it some instances. As for my favourite tips or what I find most useful from ALL of my time spent playing... 1. "Scan" the environment with Ultrahand. I found so many Koroks (clay pots, rocks) and was quicker gathering resources because I could quickly identify them. 2. Stamp the entrances of caves and wells for important reminders. This eliminates most of the confusion from stamping random spots in the overworld. 3. Make GOOD fusions. Don't hesitate to make powerful weapons, rocket shields, and to experiment with your gems. A powerful weapon will earn back whatever material you spent to make the weapon, provided you do a bit of monster hunting. Thanks to everyone who contributed in the previous videos! I've been using a lot of your tips as well. Now, I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of your thoughts on this magnificent game!
I think a link between worlds would be a good game to play after Totk. It also let’s you do stuff in any order but still has traditional Items and is just a great game all around.
I am absolutely hooked on this game. I've never played a Zelda game before, and tbh I've played nothing but fortnite for the last 5 years. But my 14yr old daughter convinced me to get TOTK n I've fallen in love. I now haven't played any fortnite in 3+ weeks and in that time I've put like 175+ hours into TOTK 😅
I'm happy to hear that you've been enjoying it so much! What a game for you to come back to, and that's some insane play time haha. I hope that this review didn't spoil anything for you. Are you close to wanting to take on Ganon? Or did you already and you've been doing extra content afterwards?
I appreciate that. Sorry for getting your hopes up with it. What a cool perk it would have been for the speed buff, which I feel like is underutilised. At least it boosts climbing speed.
Great video. I got 104 shrines and really look forward to the dlc. I will probably go back and do the shrines. My favorite is everything was done better and there is so much game and places to explore and discover in a puzzle like fashion. Not sure what the next zelda will be. Truly a mystery as to what they are gonna do. It it going to be another open sim like world wither lots more f physics involved. A 2d Zelda vania would be awesome. Find out something in 3 years lol.
You're right, everything really was done better. I don't even know how they were able to improve on so many things because I didn't see "missing content" in BotW. I'll be happy if we hear more in 3 years! And they better not make us restart the game with another Master Mode. I don't think I can play this game all over again.
glad to hear you enjoyed it. i agree i think it would be great if they made a 2D Zelda again and maybe take a break from 3D for a wile as we all know this game is going to keep people busy for a long time and having 3 games like this in a row might get tiresome and could lead people to get burned out
Bingo. If they make us wait another 6 years, maybe it'll be fine, but I would love to see them take on 2D with all of these new ideas. We've seen that amazing physics can be done in 2D games.
Hello dear I saw your RU-vid videos very nice and very helpful I watched your RU-vid and saw many problems that's why the video views are not subscribed if you want I can tell you the problems
An awesome round up and a special thanks for addressing the useful items topic. Funny enough, Ice has been the strongest element for the last two games that I’ve played (one being Tears of the Kingdom ). I would have to agree with the issues including some improvements to the combat and a somewhat “better” role for Zelda. It was funny listening to your castle experience, I can only imagine people telling/ screaming at you to turn around if you were live streaming it 🤣. I personally like this Zelda story way more than any other one even if it was a bit predictable… plus that dragon was an epic touch. I personally really really enjoyed all of the dungeons and how they take you from area to area. Overall this game is superb and it’s one of my favorite games of all time. I cannot wait to play the next one.
You're welcome! It was fun thinking back to how much my item usage had changed since I first started playing. Fire fruit and muddle buds were the highest on my list until I started experimenting with other items. I guess bomb flowers will always be insanely good. (Speaking of those, I really like that they returned to the bomb flower concept.) The dungeons were pretty good overall, yeah. The Thunder Temple was my favourite with its compact layout and secrets in so many rooms. Light/mirror puzzles have also been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember. It's weird to imagine not playing TotK after it occupied so much of my life for the last few months. Gah, I'm gonna miss it, but I've got some other big games on the horizon. I wonder where it'll appear in your top 100!
@@TheLegendofLeo for me the flower bomb was indeed the bomb, way too much fun to use along with many other combinations. My favorite would have to be the wind dungeon and the Fifth Sage. Both are memorable because of how you get there, not necessarily because of the dungeons themselves. Well the game didn’t rank 1 but it did make it in the top 5, it’s an amazing title that be hard to follow but if anyone can do it, it’s Nintendo
@@GamesWithTea I'm guessing you did the Wind Temple first too, right? That presentation was something else. I thought that they were gonna go in a crazier direction with the Ark's story, but I have to be reminded that these are still "just" Zelda games. Top 5 is incredible! I'll be looking forward to seeing its closest company in your list.
I went back to BotW just for a couple of Koroks, and it really did feel like a downgrade until I got used to it again! The menus and UI are big things that stand out with TotK being the clear winner.
How in the hell do you only have that many subscribers? I just discovered you tonight & found your videos helped me get to sleep, you've got a very comforting voice or something! I didn't think there was anything else that anyone could teach me about TOTK but I actually heard some new things from you! Nice to see a fellow Canadian doing more of these videos too!
Thank you very much! I hadn't covered many hot topics until these Tears of the Kingdom videos. We'll see what happens as I return to other content. I'm glad that you could learn something new from these, and I hope you'll enjoy what's to come!
@@TheLegendofLeo It was only after writing that message when I'd realized you didn't already have a huge library of content uploaded. But it's all good, everyone starts somewhere, but your presentation & narrative are well written, very concise & should be quite easy to understand/follow even for newbies to Zelda (as I once was until BOTW, but have since played many Zelda games), so you know what you're doing, you have what it takes to make it, I think. Plus, you seem to have a genuine, nice personality, & you're a decent lookin' dude so that's definitely not going to hurt your following lmfao. Definitely be following! Good luck!
