He smart he knew how to move through this interview how to shift through this interview without stomping on any specifically. Alot of interviews start beefs
Nice to see his positive growth over the time. . He still speaking his truth, he just seems like he has nothing to prove to anyone qnd that's a good look
He’s very underrated and they definitely don’t give Maine enough credit for how lyrical he is . Gee money was the truth no cap dude was next up I wish he could’ve grown and get the success he about to come into .
You get wise with age. I changed with age. So I salute them for changing why they are still young, getting all this money. Not letting mf'ers who ain't intend a funeral influence them. Ain't got to have Thanksgiving dinner together, but seize of fire is all that's needed. Salute.
I remember when I first heard TEC when he was in Click Tight Boyz / Purple Label back in 2007 & they had that song " Stuntastic . " This man's progress was slept on for a long time.
@@BlaccIndianOG Shid that was some years ago either way lol. That was on MySpace days. I could've sworn it was 07 tho, but I could be wrong. I remember I first heard it on MySpace when one of my people from down there in Baton Rouge put me on his music.
@@Slim5845 Bro yeah mane!! Lmao remember that Baby It's Just song they did? Rip to Li Dundray, that man was cold with the singing shit. Then Tec had that song "Cause I'm Popular" & he did a freestyle to Ambitionz as a Ridah by 2pac too. On the slick, they should've collabed with Wild Yella from Shreveport because he had a similar style to TEC & them in my opinion & it wouldve been a dope tape if they did one together. 🔥
Hope dude uses this as a lesson for the next rapper he interviews, just let them talk, because certain shit they are saying, can get you more views and so forth. Tec was also probably high, so it's easy to forget what they were saying, and then they go to the next topic they want to talk about, people do that even sober, so if Tec was high, reason why he could have forgot what he was about to say.
Facts,,and from what I see,I think this could be the nigga that could bring everyone together and get shit poppin in the right order,I don't know all the history but this dude really got the heart and wisdom to pull it off,,that's just what I'm seeing on some predictable type shit, but how he said in the beginning everyone wanna be that nigga but that ain't his focus, his focus is too move up in the world, the main thing was he ain't ever forget where he came from,he made a way for niggas after his gen..💯bro
He’s totally right about how the new wave got recognition. I guess you sort of have to be from Louisiana to understand the way things went. Boosie, Webbie etc didn’t have anyone getting them out there. They did it on their own with underground music, selling CDs etc. Dude interviewing him must not be from LA cause he said Scotty Cain from NO. I remember my kids growing up listening to Scotty Cain, Main and Tec and others. He has definitely grown up. Happy to see it. Pray he have more success in the future.
I think real toon from Dallas , but yeah I’m from Houston and Mississippi and I know a lot about Baton Rouge I feel we all connected in some way interviewer definitely should’ve known Maine is from Baton Rouge
Yep, me too. People who not from here don't understand we can see these dudes everyday. It's small and everybody know everybody. I wish everyone could see Spitta tho. Underrated
@@misterceo2168 we ain’t gon never get nowhere tho cause niggas still doin it 😮💨even if you not rappin in Houston and jus sellin clothes and gettin money they’ll take ya down . Speakin on the West specially
We really do know everybody in BR, not to mention the segregation. Then the hate, envy, and jealousy just made it worse with the fame and riches smh 🤦🏾♂️ we should be helping each other out of the gutter instead of stepping on our own people.
I’m bout go stream bro music the most respectful thing a man can do is be real he right to follow his vision and not another man’s GOD got his own plan for each of all if we believe I know it ain’t no hate it’s just be pride and ego remove that to find your true self
I feel like I come from the same type city! Everybody in competition and don’t nobody wanna be the last one to reach the top! Takes so long just to get noticed you eventually give up! I’ll get noticed though! Swing by the channel! Thnx in advance
When y’all was saying toon my high ass thought y’all was talking about nfl toon the nikka that sing city rollin 😂 didn’t even see toon tv n the background
I'm 31 and am a real rap lyrical rap fan. So I only like lyrical rappers with talent. And I will say Louisiana definitely got some of the most talented rappers. Tec gates, Maine, gee money etc. Are gangster rappers but are actually lyrical with it. So i can listen to them and enjoy it.
Man I pray that they find a different role model because looking up to killers is not it! Lord send some real businessmen or entrepreneurs to lead and guide them to another way of success! Turn this darkness into light and may you get the glory! May God and Jesus protect and bless us all 🙏
@@jamar1091 show us please? Ever major city have some level crime, but that was never Baton Rouge jacket. People moved from New Orleans to br because it was 10 times safer, so show the world Baton Rouge numbers I can for New Orleans.
Sad asf.. they was all fire artists too! Just imagined if mfrs was business savvy and mature enough to set aside the jealousy and beef, G money and young boy alone could of lit the music seen on fire together 🔥 😳
It takes rappers from Baton Rouge a long time to blow cause them niggas be in and out of jail, when boosie got jammed up Kate’s took off but went to jail for like 2 years, Foxx was popping then he went laid down, mistah Cain was popping then he went laid down, young ready, Ray Vicks, lil one the champ all goats but jail or death held them back
